Direct ClickBank Link On YouTube Video Question

I have numerous YouTube videos that are on page one of YouTube and Google. My question is if I add a direct link to a ClickBank product will it affect the videos rankings?

Should I link to my website first then to the offer?

What are you're opinions on this?

    I would be very careful about direct linking to Clickbank. Ranking may not be your problem. I'd be more concerned about having your videos (and account) flagged as spam by viewers.

    Instead, create a page on your site and embed the video, add a link to the Clickbank product (and some presell text), as well as a relative article from ezinearticles.com.

      YouTube hasn't been to friendly with affiliate links lately. Don't be surprised if you're entire account gets removed - just a quick note.

    I would recommend getting a whole new link to make it work. I actually make my own webpages for my affiliate links and end up having no problems.

    JUST DO NOT DO IT!

    Simply get a great short url software on the Warrior Forum like: THIS ONE! and link that short link to a lander that can be updated, that then leads to your main site|cpa offer page

    Vlad will help you no probs, any direct link, anywhere to your money|cpa|lander will get associated and eventually banned, so just do it right in the first place, no footprint, no ban!

    Okay, so I won't direct link to the offer. From what I'm getting from everyone is to build my funnel like the example below:

    YouTube Video -> My Webesite -> Offer.

    For me, I put mydomainname.com under the video and create a 301 redirect (inside my Cpanel) form my domain to the offer.

    You can definitely do it without affecting ranking but it might cause you to get marked as spam and banned. At the very least cloak / shorten your URL, tinyurl allows affiliate links still unlike bitly and some others.

    I like to build a list, but if I am not sure if I will rank or not sure of the niche I just buy a cheap .info domain and have it forwarded to my hop-link. If i start getting hits I then create a splash page that will redirect to the hop-link if they choose not to op-in. So far this has worked great for me.
