Using YouTube to promote my Fiverr Gig

Hi guys and gals,

I am trying to drive traffic to my Fiverr gig. I'm a top-rated seller and very successful on Fiverr. However, I want more orders (who doesn't..lol).

I am trying to figure out the best way to use YoutTube to drive traffic. Is this a good plan? Any thoughts? Ways to improve?

1. Upload all of the videos I've done for customers. In the Title and Description optimize for the keywords "spokesperson", "presenter" etc as well as the service that I did the video for.

For example, if I do a video for a Tampa Bay Florida Car Dealer I would optimize this way.

Title: Tampa Bay Car Dealer Spokesperson Web Presenter
Description: This is a video I did for a Tampa Bay Car Dealer. I do web spokesperson videos for car dealerships, auto repair shops, automotive centers, and many other organizations across all industries.

If you would like a similar spokesperson video for your website, you can hire me as your spokesperson on Fiverr.com. It's only $5 for every 50 word script. Get your $5 spokesperson video now by visiting fiverr.com/websitevideo.

If the video I did was about a dental practice then instead of "car dealerships, auto repair shops" etc, it would be "dental practice, orthodontia," etc.

Thanks in advance. Any other thoughts are greatly appreciated.

  • That would be great if someone were looking for a car dealer in Tampa Bay.

Invest in some keyword research. You may want to hire someone to do this for you as they will be able to come up with keywords you might not think of.

Once you've got hundreds or thousands of long tail keywords, you can create videos, blog entries, buy AdWords, etc. And yes, you may be able to repurpose some of your existing videos.

    Hi Ron,

I have some important tips for you. There are others Youtube promoters are using it too. Anyway here it is.

Create an account for EACH video you are going to upload.
Make sure you create accounts with the keywords on your username like youtube.com/user/TampaBayFloridaCarDealer If it's possible and also your Keyword as a name.
Upload your customers video on it and of course Optimize the Title, description and tags.
Once you are finished, do a link building on your profile. Comment to HIGH PR youtube users or videos. Any users/video will do as most or all of them are automatically approved or posted.
Checked your sites ranking after a few days or week using your keywords and if it ranks the video will appear as a FEATURED VIDEO.

    Hope it helps.

First, I wouldn't use videos created for customers on Youtube without their permission.

Next, I wouldn't use Youtube to promote Fiverr gigs where you only make a few dollars. Instead, use Youtube to promote your own service on your own web site.

I keep thinking about doing just that, Kurt. Fiverr is just consistent bankable money. I guess I'd need to start my own site, do youtube and other SEO, paid ads, etc, then drop Fiverr...perhaps.

Keep using Fiverr as long as you need the money. However, don't promote your services or videos anywhere else other than Fiverr. The only reason to use Fiverr is to leverage their INTERNAL traffic. Don't send them external, that's just not a good business plan.

If you can make good videos, you don't even need to promo a video creation service. Instead, use them to create residual revenue.

Me personaly, I would do some crazy funny videos and try to get them to go viral. Of course KW research is always good. But, I would have fun with it and stick personality in it. Yes, optimizing YT is good marketing, but never underestimate simple personality to really take you off. I've seen it done time and time again with people promoting their blog or such do something that takes off because they had fun, while their optimize vids did not.
    Just my two cents.

This is a GREAT way to sell your gig. I have sold over 3500 gigs on Fiverr in the last 8 months utilizing this method.

I also own a top ten clone and do tons of business by marketing this way.

One KEY thing you need to do, if you vid doesn't rank at the top after you make it, you may need to stuff it with likes/favs/comms to boost it up to the top

Yeah Youtube is a good option. I would include a link to your Fiverr offers at the bottom of your videos (and also in the description) so that people can go and visit your Fiverr gigs.
