Have Adult Sexual Education Books and don't know how to find affiliates for them

Hello,

I am a very experienced off-line marketer that created a series of websites with high-quality adult sexual education books (Dating, Sex and Relationships) targeting adult men.

My issue is that I am very new to on-line marketing and don't know how to reach affiliates. I have all the websites set-up on RAP and everything is set-up for a clean and profitable relationship with affiliates, but I don't know where to find them.

Any help and guidance will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Kristina.

Have you thought about putting them in Kindle instead?

    Hmm,

I'm not sure this is what you were asking for, but personally, I wouldn't want to be an affiliate at all. I can't help but think that "adults" don't feel as though they need any sex ed.

Well, that's just my opinion, perhaps some others can be more helpful to you.

I am surprised to see a woman saying this...it sounds more like a "man" comment. women are much more prone to reading directions than men, and lets face it, there are quite a few men out there who need to read the directions when it comes to sex.

As for the question at hand. My thoughts are always to look at what the competition is doing. I would think you should have a list of 5-10 sites or companies that are similar in nature. My first thought is to go look at what they are doing. no point in trying to re-invent the wheel so to speak.

My next thought for any product is always to brainstorm cross sell products. Those are simply products that are not direct competitors, but who have products that also attract your ideal customers. Once you identify them, contact them with an offer they can't refuse.

look for who already has the attention of your target market...those are your prime affiliates.

Thank you all for your comments. I keep finding a lot of roadblocks to list my books and websites on affilite forums due to "sexually explicit content".

These are not porn books, just adult education, dating advise, etc.

Your ideas and advise are welcomed!

        Thank you again!

        K.

        Haha!

        How very astute of you.

I actually was thinking about men when I made that statement. I know men need this type of material much more than women and I also know most men say they don't need it and therefore won't read it. Refuse actually, and take offense when you suggest such a thing to them. Perhaps it is ego.

I've had many discussions regarding this very thing with my girlfriends through the years, as well as being a marriage counselor for "young marrieds" in the church. It is true with a few rare exceptions.

I do it for my own enjoyment...

Are you trying to suggest that there is another way?

    Kristina,

I'd look for highly sexed people who have the mindset and tools to promote this thing for you

imho, why not create your own affiliate program? I guess the issue might be the payment merchant and also the legal issues to promoting the product.

    hope it helps

She said she is set up on RAP already, which means she has already set up her own affiliate program.

Now she needs to find affiliates.

Have you thought of approaching relationship counselors and other professionals in the field? Are there any professional newsletters you can advertise in?

You might try the adult world for affiliates. gfy dot com is an excellant forum to get hooked in with these people. There is also a payment processor called ccbill. Anybody who uses them gets access to their network of affiliates. They are the biggest credit card biller in the entire adult industry.

Well, adult products are not easy to promote with common marketing methods(articles, blogs, forums) due to the prohibited content.

My advice is that finding some affiliate networks which targets adult niche and be a merchant , this will be more effective and time-saving
