Email Advice For New Affiliate

I am starting to build an email list and was wondering what kind of platform would you all recommend? To do mass email, would something like a mailchimp work or just good old gmail do the trick? Any feedback would help.

A paid one is your best bet Kevin, cost is about $20 a month for Aweber or Getresponse which are two of the best.

I appreciate you may not have the spondulicks to spare but free email clients are not a good idea for several reasons which have been explained many times here, just use the search function and you will find them.
It really is worth the money to use a paid autoresponder, trust me, you will never regret it.

Dont use gmail for email marketing. Use an autoresponder like Aweber so that you can send out timely emails, and also broadcast emails (mass emails). Just dont overdo it.

Don't use gamil for Affiliate marketing. Use your own email like admin@yourdomain.com. mailchimp is worked for me.

When I first got into email marketing, I wanted to cut costs any chance I had. Unfortunately, I tried using sub-par autoresponder services (and even self-hosted solutions). "Things" didn't really start taking off until I invested in aWeber.

Maybe things took off because the delivery rates were higher?

    or...

Maybe, subconsciously, I told myself that since I was paying for a service like aWeber, I needed to at least make that money back with my email marketing campaigns.

Who really knows why... but it was obvious that changes started to happen when I paid for an aWeber subscription.

I have a feeling that a lot of people who are just getting into email marketing start off the same way I did. They want to get in with the lowest costs, and they think the most convenient corner to cut would be their autoresponder service.

If I could go back and do it all over again, I would've just sucked it up and paid for aWeber.

That's my recommendation for you. I think if you follow that advice, you will already be ahead of the game.

They say its estimated that each quality subscriber is worth about $1/month. And since you can get aWeber for $20 per month (after the trial), as long as you get 20 new quality subscribers during your first month, technically, your subscription is already paid for.

If you have any questions about aWeber, feel free to ask them in this thread. Or, you can PM me and I'll see if I can help.

I believe it's not that simple. Probably it was your learning curve. See quote below.

For this very reason I didn't start my list building yet.

You can buy complete sales funnels, with everything you need to start building a list the right way. They include freebies, paid product, website, AR series,, sales pages, etc.

You can also build your own very easily.

The only way to start is to start. Test everything and tweak what isn't working and expand on what is. You'll figure it out. Everyone starts list building at the testing stage, at least with PLR sales funnels you can get a head start.

I actually bought one a couple months ago, but when I start thinking about implementation, I found a few problems
          For example:

is not so easy for a newbie

          And with this:

          I totally agree.
However, at the moment, I not quite sure how I would do this testing and tweaking. Even how it's done by others

    Hello

I would recommend GVO , it is really cheap and hosting and Autoresponder are included , only for $10 per month.

With Autoresponder you can set follow up emails with your subscribers for e.g every day

    Good luck

MailChimp has a free service. Up to 2000 subscribers and 12,000 emails a month - FREE! Not bad if you're just starting out and building slowly.

I agree. I chose Mailchimp and find them great. I haven't yet reached 2000 opt-ins so the service is still free for me. You have to start paying after 500 with Aweber, so its a no brainer really.

That doesn't really apply to this thread, Sting: the OP describes himself as a "new affiliate", and Mailchimp doesn't allow affiliate marketing. Countless Warriors have lost their lists there because they've tried to use it for affiliate marketing. They hadn't found this post, perhaps.

All the very best. But it's always good to use a professional autoresponder services like awerber or getresponse, because you can automate your email marketing, explore the facilities of it, as well as keep up a good relaitonship with your list. But never sent mass emails, don't annnoy them. If they seemed that you're a helpful person, they will be obligied to pay you back.
