Wordpress Review Templates - pro's and con's

Hi Warriors

I have seen a few offers lately about ready to use Wordpress Review sites. Clickbank has a monthly membership site offering them, as far as I know all on WP base.

To see what I'm talking about, the last niche templates I found was on

Wordpress Review Theme (no aff link)

I think those Review Blogs look absolutely fantastic. But here is my problem.

I never used WP till now, only Blogger (like things easy) so I would like to know from you guy's what's the positive part of THIS kind of WP Blogs, SEO wise, or what would be a negative aspect of using them.

As said, I never used WP before so try to be patient if my question is silly, OK.

I appreciate your answers.

Well, SEO-wise, you wouldn't have a subdomain like blogspot.com, and you pretty much have free reign since it's YOUR website and you're not relying on Blogger.com.

You would also have your own .com (or other TLD) which in turn would increase your credibility.

You also have more control over your site, like I said, since you don't have to rely on or use Blogger.com and their templates, etc.

thanks for the reply. Maybe I've not asked in a proper way.

What have those type of WP review themes ahead of the usual WP Blog themes on wordpress.com., other then looking way better.

Are they recommendable SEO wise ? Or is this no issue for a multiple review site ?

I would like to know if the investment is worth it to get such a review theme. Or if I better go with a Free Blog on my TLD like you mentioned.

      Thanks again

You would be able to host your blog on your own domain.

    It is an awesome advantage.

Have you had a look at uniqueblogdesigns.com. They have very good templates, they are a bit more expensive but very good for affiliate marketing. They have a free one called "The moneymaker"

Thanks to all of you for the answers.

I could see that there isn't actuallly a negative point in using the WP Review themes I posted an example url, which are quite different to a usual WP Blog.

      I will go for it.

The price of +- $30.- is peanuts as I would spend days to design such a theme myself (IF I get to do it?!).

And if you purchased one, you can use it over and over again changing headers. Content needs to be unique anyhow.

      Cheers

Those look like very professionally designed themes...I think it's worth the 30 bucks...considering the amount of time it would take me to create it myself...you may still have to add some plugins for SEO and to limit spam but that is real easy...I think you are going to like wordpress.
