How do I transfer hosting ?

INTERNET MARKETING

I'm with Hostgator Baby Plan. I'm about to flip my first site but have no idea how to transfer a wordpress site. I'm wondering if I should just go ahead and get Reseller Hosting, but the thing is I'm not really sure if I'll continue flipping in the future.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Reseller hosting is the best for flipping sites. If you are going to do it more than once, then go ahead and use reseller hosting. I use host gator and it's really good.

Reseller pkg through Hostgator is the best "bang for your buck" especially if you are going to continue to flip sites and also host your own. Your can offer hosting to your customers and let them help you pay for the Reseller pkg.

As for tranferring the site tot he new owner, I will recommend that you contact Sheryl Polomka, she is a warrior. She has written an ebook on exactly what you are asking about. I have read it and its very good. Tell her I sent you. She will help you in any way she can.

Thank you all for your suggestions! I've decided to go for Reseller Hosting. Christine, thanks for reminding me of Sheryl's book. I've known her for a long-time. I guess I'll contact her.

For using hostgator for site flipping, the thing I am concerned about is with a reseller account, don't I need to provide hositng technical support? I don't want to do that!!! Andrew
