What Kind of Spam is This?

Lately, I've been getting multiple emails per day of the following kind:

<< This page from USA for UNHCR has been forwarded to you by Millions Of Clicks At Your Fingertips:

http://www.spamlink.com

If the text above does not appear as a full, clickable link, please copy the whole web address and paste it into the address box of your browser. >>

These are short emails, all supposedly forwarded by someone (a different site each time). They never come in my spam folder and Gmail is usually pretty good about that. Nor is there ever an unsubscribe link. So who is sending out this junk?

    You should set up a filter in Gmail to erase and instantly delete these emails based on subject line and body content.

      Good idea. I've never used email filters, but this seems like a time to use them.
