Help with subdomain...

Hello,

As you guys know I'm fairly new to IM, as well as all of this web stuff. If I a primary website as my root, and want to create subdomains offering other products related to the main, how do I go about setting that up?

    If you are using cpanel there's a menu item called 'subdomains' that allows you to easily add them.

    login to your cpanel, scroll down and click on "subdomains"

    Give your subdomain a name.

    SUBDOMAIN.maindomain.com

    Click on create.

    Rodmar has the answer. If you are using Wordpress and using fantastico to install then don't create the sub-domain first. Just put the name of your sub-domain in the "install in" box.
