Monetizing a Listing Website
Hi, I am planning on building out a listing website in a niche market. Looks like the way the listing website business model is going, listing are generally free now, with upgrade options.
The main question I have is how do I build a critical mass of listings on the website? I don't want to start with no listings because no-one who is searching for listings will interested, and conversely people will not want to post their listings, even for free because they feel that no-one is looking at the site.
Does anyone of any experiences or suggestions on how to quickly and effectively build national listings? Is there some kind to web tool that can search online classifieds and add them to my site in the way of a script?
