Just did a detailed plan of action for September - looking forward to putting it into practice! I'd get nothing done without planning and to do lists, so this is very important for my getting results.

*Reworked some of my article/website/squidoo/review etc etc pages so i'm targetting profitable keywords and the link juice is flowing.

*Emailed a couple of large highranking websites for a link exchange.

            *Minor changes to website

*Wrote 3 more articles for buyers keywords.

*properly cloaked affiliate links on my site and squidoo pages using FLC beta (thankyou Andy Fletcher it seems to be working great so far)

*added a new review page to my website

            ************************
What i hope to do now is get more link juice flowing with an RSS feed, social bookmark some and properly sort my blog out because it's currently a mess.

Doing Search Engine Optimization for local charities.

I'm now able to tell my crappy late paying clients to shove off...

              I now do PR for:

Frederick County Public Library (Frederick Maryland)

              Thurmont Library Grand Opening!

Frederick Library MUSIC ON THE TERRACE

Frederick "Mission of Mercy" (non profit free traveling health / dental clinic that serves Maryland, Pennsylvania, Texas, Arizona)

Frederick Mission of Mercy unofficial blog

almost filled the pages of Google with blog posts and those above articles ranking
              in the top ten:
Results 1 - 10 of about 85,900 for Frederick Mission of Mercy. (0.07 seconds)

Frederick Mission of Mercy - Google Search

              ===================

My very first clients, when I had zero credibility, gave me a start... but they paid me litteraly less than minimum wage.

What makes it worse, is that since I have a background in addiction/ recovery (and the arrest record that goes with it Crack Cocaine Addiction Recovery ) the business owners that I did SEO for threatened me with going pubic...

OK fine, I beat em to it.

Added 23 new Adgroups in Adwords.

Eliminated 91 keywords from my pay-per-click campaigns.

My virtual assistant submitted 14 articles, answered 10 answers at YA!, and made 24 blog posts, and a few other things I won't share in public.

Continued re-working the sales copy on two websites.

Made / received 11 calls from potential customers and existing clients.

Obtained a cute hostess's phone number from Coco's.

Purchased a new round of advertising for a specific niche site.

Reviewed rough draft for a PR Kit for another niche.

Skyped with Kevin Riley and Chris Sutton (not sure how that will pay dividends but it's always fun catching up with those two jokers).

Took a closer look at Josh Anderson's Nanacast to see what features it had, debating if I should "test it" for a membership site I'm working on.

        You're welcome.

You can get there faster if you check out Traffic Secrets 2, RadioPublicity.com, Perry Marshall's Guide to Google Adwords, Marlon Sander's Updated Amazing Formula, and reading any book written by George Mckenzie (I think it's called Mining Online Gold With An Offline Shovel, you can find it on Amazon) and you will leapfrog a lot of people who don't utilize the power of both free publicity and paid advertising.

                  3) Created my first decent Squidoo lens, which has links to my Ezine Articles - part of an attempt to get more of my EA articles to rank 1-2 in EA, which gets them to show up in Google.

                          Definitely.

If we are given 100 hours vs 1 hr, the focus will be different.

I remember a story I heard about it somewhere - a man who is suffering from cancer is advised to work only 4 hours a day. It was hard as he was an workaholic and worked 18 hours a day.

He had no choice. He has cancer. So he has to cut down on all his tasks and reprioritise his work.

Now, he is more focused due to the fact he has less time for work.

He cut down his checking of emails, remove meetings and reduce traveling. He removes tasks which are time consuming.

So the bottomline is we can remanage our tasks and make our time more productive. =)

                          Cheers,
                          John

That's definitely a big part of it, but y'know what? I've made so many time management mistakes / planning mistakes / processes and procedure inefficiencies (or lack thereof) over the years that I've created my own systems to be able to achieve more in shorter periods of time.

Here's one time management example: I no longer log into my Instant Messengers during the day while I'm working. The only time I log on now is when I've got free time or talking / texting with a client or prospect. The one thing boosted my productivity like nobody's business.

Mike Litman impressed upon me being able to plan my week ahead of time and focusing on doing the MOST important things first (he stressed that these are usually the things that people hate / dislike doing which reminds me of this quote he said: successful people do the things that people generally don't like to do.

That made a huge impact on my mindset toward every single one of my businesses.

I also realized that when I was a one-person operation and only had one site, one product, and involved in only one niche, I didn't think I needed these systems. But as you continue to grow, these systems become critical to growth, maintaining a high level of customer service, making sure the sales / ordering process is seamless as can be, and that product development and research doesn't take any more time than it needs to (how often have you see people post here that they started a project and then 8 months later they're still working on it here and there).

Now we're getting into the really important stuff!

My question is have you called that number?

Do you know it's genuine or has she just given you some dodgy number to blow you off?

You probably should have asked for some tips from Kevin Riley on this subject...although I'm not sure hamsters have phone numbers.

    • I tested some conference recording sites
    • learned how to put the little start/stop/pause arrows on my site
    • came up with interview questions
    • blogged
    • wrote a couple articles
    • networked with others
    • posted on the WF
    • went over student answers from my WSO ecourse
    • got 1/3 the way through reworking some PLR
    • bought a PLR that's going to work out great for something else
    • discovered things I didn't know from the WF (happens whenever I come here)
    • downloaded some pics
    • answered emails from some people on my list
    • listened to a few audios
    Every day brings new discoveries!
