Okay my friend told me that I can make money online by learning how to program with java script and stuff. So I am taking a video course online that teaches all that. I think the site is like elance or something.. I was just wondering what kind of jobs do programmers do? And aslo, is there another site like elance? Thank You!

Java programming is different than javascript. Learn HTML/5 and CSS/3 first .
Software training online-tutorials for Adobe, Microsoft, Apple & more

and its allot harder than you think so don't get too excited.
