What I'm most thankful for today: my customers, and Jeff Walker

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Jeff Walker for his timely tips on doing a multi-video prelaunch sequence series vs single-video, in an earlier thread:

http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...-slow-you.html

I took Jeff's advice and took many extra hours to create additional videos, and stretched the launch window out by several weeks, and am on track to do one of my biggest (and bestselling) launches ever. It closes today, I've crushed it with sales... a big Thanksgiving thanks to Jeff.

and Happy Thanksgiving, warriors -- internal launches can rock.

btw that's when I'm most excited in IM, is on the final launch day, since so many sales come flooding in before the deadline, it's a total rush. Getting all the "New Order was placed for..." emails today, with sales, is huge fun. And crushing my competitors is icing on the cake, and not having affiliates to hassle with, makes victory even sweeter.

I made so much in sales today I'll likely take a holiday trip to stay at the Bellagio in Vegas (I like the "Bellagio Lakeview Suites", best hotel rooms ever), during December. Plus play poker at the Venetian and MGM. Ca-ching! Now that's what I'm talking about. Ok time now for family, gotta run -- have a great day, all. I am.

Nice to see that this is working for you.

I know, there is a ton of free info on this forum and a lot of help from other marketers.

    Way to go Ken.

Thanks, much appreciated. As always, my advice about making it online, is work much harder than one would anticipate, like 4-5x as hard, 12-16 hour days. For the 4 videos on the site, professional copywriting and graphics design I did (I do it all myself), I conservatively estimate I put in well over 120 hours of work this last 5 weeks on this site launch alone.

And it's producing more for me in sales in less than 2 weeks, than many salaried people make in a year. It's all about adding genuine value with tons of content and credibility. It's great to see it work, when done right, with a ton of work.

Awesome ken. I'm most thankful for a guy named Collin Almeida - as he helped me to launch my product. Best support and advice ever.

Nice going! And I probably don't have to say this, but don't get out of hand with the poker. =]

I have a friend who goes to AC anytime he makes a lot of money (I'm going with him this Dec 15th) and I always got to pull him away from the roulette tables.

Afterwards I usually remind him that "financially literate" people don't gamble. They reinvest their $$ in bigger and better assets... that produce more $$. Not to sound condescending, just feel like its my duty to remind people. I do gamble myself. But only with the penny slots... and chasing random women around when I'm drunk.

Many people try to trash Jeff's name. The usual accusations are, that all his high-ticket products are just rehashed information with a strong motivational effect.

Well, I totally disagree. I'm thankful for everything Jeff puts out and try to follow his example closely. He is genuinely helping people and his products are developed in such a way that anyone can put 'em to work.

He totally revolutionized the entire launch process. Every strategy used in today's launches are basically founded on his entrepreneurial innovation.

      Thanks for your kind words.

I didn't start out to create a "big name" for myself... when I joined WF, I was still more than two years from ever selling anything about how to build your business online.

So it's sorta interesting when you start to be seen as a "big name"... the reality is that my life hasn't changed much. I now have a team that supports me (which brings with it an entirely different set of challenges.) And I've bought a couple of really nice bicycles and some nice guitars.

But you become a target for some people... and I know that just comes with the part when you step up into a leadership role. People are funny that way.

But at the end of the day I have this AMAZING group of Product Launch Formula Owners who are out there doing amazing things in the world... and my greatest rewards I get is hearing out their success. It really makes everything worth it.

Well I gotta admit... it was a surprise to stop by the here and find this thread. :-)

Ken: glad to hear about your success. People never believe me (and I understand that, since I have an obvious bias), but for someone like yourself who has an existing business then doing a PLF-style launch is literally like having money in the bank. In my opinion, it's an almost success.

Of course, as you point out, that doesn't obviate the reality that you have to do that work. But the flip side is that work is incredibly leveraged - it sounds like those 120 hours of work that you put in had a huge payoff.
