Hello IMers;
I have been struggling to make sufficient income online for last 2-3 years. But still I can't reach at least my $ 100 a day goal.
My question is really simple.
Now I want to start focus on Article Marketing with Word Press Niche Blogs as my Landing page.
1.So how can I do this properly?
2.How can I use Wordpress as squeeze page?
3.A separate html squeeze page as my home page(With out blogging) is more profitable?
4.By pointing article traffic to my blog (Not pointing them to squeeze page) am I lossing sales?
3.Should I put adsense as side income in my blog?
4.Can I make this as a on going profitable plan.

Please help me to start my IM Biz with above plan..

    Hi Ben

Take a step back. You need to look at thing differently, you can't have the attitude of a struggler!

Do you have a link to to you blogs?

If so - get them in your signature, let everyone see them!

You can put an opt in box on your blog - there are plenty of guides to show you how. Just google it!

Adsense is up to you. It takes traffic away from your site for only a few cents. I have had mixed results with adsense, I don't use it on my blog anymore!

Thats just a start anyway - I'm sure there will be lots of warriors with lots of tips!

    Good Luck

    Dave

    Hi Ben

First of all....I hope you are really not dying! When making your efforts to reach your income goal you may need to have another income stream that is steady coming in.

    Now to answer your questions:

Now I want to start focus on Article Marketing with Word Press Niche Blogs as my Landing page.

1.So how can I do this properly?

To achieve your income goals you need to have them written down. You also need to have a plan that outlines what you will do daily to achieve this goal. After you have the goal and plan in place you need to take action everyday. Do you have a mentor, someone who is successful at doing what you wish to do? This may be of benefit to you. There are plenty of successful warriors using article marketing that you can chose from to be your mentor.

2.How can I use Wordpress as squeeze page?

Sorry, hopefully someone will come along soon to answer this question.

3.A separate html squeeze page as my home page(With out blogging) is more profitable? Several of my home pages have a blog connected to it and I find that this and using social media sites such as twitter and facebook also helps to direct traffic to the home page.

4.By pointing article traffic to my blog (Not pointing them to squeeze page) am I lossing sales?

Pointing articles to any site or blog that you have affiliate links, product payment buttons, adsense or other income generating content is never going to be a income loser.

3.Should I put adsense as side income in my blog?

Many warriors have been successful using adsense. If you are not familiar with this tactic study up on this first.

4.Can I make this as a on going profitable plan.

Of course! Article marketing has proven to be a successful part of any online business plan.

    Good luck!

Ben, there's something that is missing from your "plan." Actually two somethings.

    One: Your customers!
    Two: You!

Without using a single word of jargon, I want you to tell me
    who are your customers
    and
who are you, that you are uniquely able to help them well?

Don't use words like WordPress, niche, landing, traffic, or blog.

Do use words like men, women, children, age, hopes, dreams, concerns, strengths, talents, fascination, love, and overcome.

    Here are some examples:

FedEx serves people, mainly adults in business, who are eager to make sure they can send a small package to arrive the next day. FedEx is uniquely able to help these people get their packages moved, because the company has a massive investment in airplanes, trucks, sorting facilities and staff to keep everything moving promptly - that's all they do.

The public library helps people in the local community to find information in publications. The library is uniquely qualified to help people find information because it has a large and well organized collection of books and magazines about almost every subject, and it's staffed with people who are trained in helping people look up information.

I am sharing ideas with people on the Warrior Forum who are discussing marketing. I am not unique in my ability to be helpful, but I do have a remarkable combination of patience, compassion, communication skills, and a wide range of understanding about marketing topics. These strengths came about because of my life experiences, my personality, and the hard work I put into learning.

Notice that these summaries are 100% free of jargon. Distribution Center and Barcode Scanner are not in the FedEx summary. Dewey Decimal and MLS are not in the library summary. Maslow's Hierarchy and NLP are not in my summary. NO JARGON.

Now it's your turn. Tell me something about Ben and who Ben helps, again with NO JARGON.

    Regards,
    Allen

1.So how can I do this properly?

The same way you eat an Elephant. One bite at a time.

2.How can I use Wordpress as squeeze page?

Yes, there are actually Wordpress squeeze page templates available on the market. Your other choice is to create an extra folder in the blog that is a separate squeeze page IE: http://myblogisheresomewhereinthis.com/thesqueezepage

3.A separate html squeeze page as my home page(With out blogging) is more profitable?

You could do this - http://mysqueezepagehere.com and then install a blog on http://mysqueezepagehere.com/blog

More profitible? that is a matter of TESTING. It will all depend on the niche.

I personally have a niche, I made a squeeze on one domain, and the blog on another. Both contain the sign-up form for my AR.

4.By pointing article traffic to my blog (Not pointing them to squeeze page) am I losing sales?

Not necessarily. You want to have an option to sign up in both places. You can split the resource box in the article as well: IE the article at ezine points to the blog, and the artcle at another article directory points to the squeeze page.

3.Should I put adsense as side income in my blog?

This really depends on how dense the blog is and if your direct offers are not working IMO. I waited a year before adding adsense to one of my blogs. It now adds a couple more bucks a month to that particular blog - but I do still generate sales from actual products being promoted.

Adsense can be a distraction - and will only give you a few cents for the click (depending on the niche) and prevent people from opting into your sign-up giving you longer term results and a higher commission for their visit.

4.Can I make this as a on going profitable plan.

Absolutely, but it is about just getting it UP so you can test and track.

    Hi Ben,
Honestly, did you really work hard for it? Ask yourself and you need not to post your answer here coz we all knew.

So, glad to hear that you have finally decided to focus and take action.

    Best of luck.

Hey...I would like to say that you are doing good just making a little under $100 a day. I am glad you shared your story because other people need to know that it takes hard work to make money online. I was in the same boat as you like a year ago.

    1. are you focusing on one thing? It can be exciting when you first start making money online on your own, but you can halt the process when trying to do too many project at once. How are you making the little money you are online right now? I would suggest sticking to that method, but just rave it up a little more, such as writing press releases, article marketing, blog commenting and forum posting. It is grueling at first, but you will get use to it. The key to any success with an onine business is 'backlinks'. The more you have, the more traffic you get and the more sales you make. It is as simple as that! I hope that helped you.

You can create exit pop up squeeze page, so after people will want to leave your offer you will offer something for free to them, for example 1st chapter of your course if its course, or video review of your software. Cheers :-)

I think now you need to get a job that brings in constant income and build your online business part time.

Focus on these 3 major components: 1) products, 2) opt-in list, 3) traffic

Why do you want to put your business in the hands of Google. If your trying to make money or a profit then your a business. You want full control don't you? Create a marketing budget and play with paid traffic. It's the holy grail. That and a good converting landing page!

Two favorite sources of mine are PPC and banner.

Although this thread is from 2009 people are still anwering like it was started this morning. I remember when Article Marketing was really popular way of marketing. Never really been into it myself but people really used to do very well with articles all around the web. It would be interesting to see if someone is really making good money this way today. In my opinion there are better ways of attracting people to your site than article marketing which takes a lot of time and energy for my taste.
