    You might consider finishing it?

Did you mean the header graphic to take up a part of the page width, really?
Did you mean that banner to break the page, really?
Did you mean the right sidebar to slide up into the header area, really?
Did you intend Google ads to rotate with the banner mentioned above and break the page?

Whether any of these would be detrimental enough to make the superb graphics less attractive I'm not sure but my first reaction was - it will be nice when it is finished.

Oh, yes, four posts isn't exactly pushing the boat out, is it?

You might not like what I say - but I believe it.
Build it, make money, then build some more

I agree, the above does need to be fixed. Also i want to know wether or not i can promote other topics on the same blog, or if it would screw me over.. i dont want to write 50 posts on one topic, thats why i have only written 4 so far. I am planning on writing more but i would like to write some stuff on other things if it doesnt screw me over.

    Thanks

Um, I didn't click on any your ads , but I would suggest picking the right keywords for your anchor text. Its not about how many direct clicks you will get from direct traffic in the actual forums, blogs, etc, but it is about getting search engine traffic from your anchor text. You need to use Google Adwords Tool to choose low competition long tail keywords for your anchor text.

Well, it looks like your off to a bit of a start anyway. Personally, I feel you have far to many Google ads on it. It seems to much about making money...perhaps really try and offer a lot of valuable helpful info for people for a while..before thinking about the money end of it. Just my two cents worth. Hope that helps.

I have fixed the header now, it should be the right length now.

    Is there any other problems?

I'm building a Wii site and you can check it out for comparison.

    WiiCanDoit

The content is spun from Amazon and the reviews are also from there. Obviously, this site doesn't have any authority but I chose to monetize it with amazon products instead of adsense and at the end of every post is a text link to the product. The blank space in the upper right hand corner will link (internally, of course) to cheats and codes.

Doesn't blogger have some wider themes? The more real estate the better!

Why would you think that? Look at your hosting package and you'll see WP listed.

There are a number of key difficulties with this website. In particular, it's been set up without any real understanding of Keyword Research or Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

For instance, the ads being displayed in the Google box are poorly targeted. It's clear that the Google bot has been unable to determine what the site is about. It includes ads for Gold Trading in a website concerned with World of Warcraft. There are a number of reasons for this. Two that are obvious: The name of the page - the URL - gives no indication of what the page is about. The name is meaningless. Secondly, the text content makes a number of references to 'gold' so the Google bot has decided that 'gold trading' could be relevant and is displaying ads that are actually unrelated to the site.

I checked World of Warcraft in a keyword tool and it's clear that this is a highly competitive niche and few keywords are available that have good demand and low competition. Google indexes individual web pages rather than web sites and whatever it considers to be the keyword used for this page is very competitive. Even when it gets indexed, I doubt it will receive much traffic.

You need to build pages (prepare articles) which target keywords that are not too competitive and yet have a good level of demand - people search for those terms. Then those individual pages need to be promoted to attract traffic.

As this is obviously a MFA (Made For Adsense) site, promotion would be tricky. Adwords would not be permitted, etc. Paid traffic would be unprofitable (and Google wouldn't allow it directly).

It would be more effective to identify keywords related to gaming and build pages specifically for those keywords but include something especially appealing to that audience as a free download - like a free cheat sheet. That would put them on your email list and you would then have many chances to pre-sell your subscribers with various offers and send them to sales pages designed to convert, whether as an affiliate or carrying properly targeted Adsense.

The whole marketing strategy needs to be thought through to make it work. At the moment the different parts of your strategy (promotion, web design, etc) lack harmony - they don't work together very well. Decide how you want these parts to support each other and then do some keyword research so that what you build targets keywords that are likely to be profitable (there is a product available) and will successfully draw traffic.

It is pointless doing a lot of work if you cannot attract people who are interested in what you have to offer.

It is equally pointless if you attract traffic and your system is not designed to convert that traffic into revenue.

I've built MFA sites which attracted thousands of visitors - and clicks - a day. I don't do it now as the rules of the game have changed and it's much harder to make a decent profit with these. I also prefer to build for the longer term as that builds an asset which has cumulative returns - the more you build the more you earn.

MFA sites don't need to look beautiful to be effective. Some of my most profitable have been downright ugly! However, the 'call to action' - the action step (click) - required from visitors was clear and the sites were focused, so they worked.

The WOW site which is discussed here is still at the stage of style over substance - looking good rather than performing effectively. For instance, the header graphic wastes an enormous amount of space above the fold. It is about twice as high as it needs to be. If the purpose of this site is to impress friends with visually impressive graphics then it probably succeeds. Friends will marvel at how good it looks.

If its purpose is to return a profit, then my earlier comments need to be considered.
