How Do I Share Profit With JV Partners?

Dear Fellow Warriors,

I really need your help on this.

Me and my partner will be launching a new product shortly on a 50-50 profit and lead sharing basis. What is the best way to share the profit and leads equally. I've seen many JV product launches in WSO also, I wonder how do they share the profit and leads?

It depends on the product or type of payment processor you use.

Ex: If it is digital product and use payment processor like 2checkout, they have integrated affiliate payments. 50% goes to your partner and 50% to you.

Or if you can buy an affiliate mnanagement script like idevaffiliate and automate the process. (there are many simpler scripts too)

If it is physical product, then it would be entirely different.

50/50 is always the best way.

Thank you very much for the suggestions. Still one question remains, how do we share the leads as we are planning to build the list of buyers.

    1. To split the profits you would use the JV feature in one of the following networks - Warrior Plus, JV Zoo or Clickbank. This means when a payment is received it will automatically be split between yourself and your partner.

    2. Splitting the leads is a different issue. Are you both wanting 100% of the leads or are you both wanting just 50% of the leads each. Either way it is going to cause issues. When someone joins your list if they start getting contacted by two different people they will likely get annoyed and unsubscribe. The person they buy from should be the person who follows up with them. You might be better to just build the one list and both share the profits from any promotions you do to that list.

Thanks indeed. I'm clear with the payment part and regarding the list, we've to trust each other hence there is no another way to sort it out

Again thank you for sharing your knowledge.
