How to Find Affiliates To Sell Your Products?

Hey guys I am wondering how most vendors are able to get affiliates to sell their products?
Do they just upload their products on Clickbank and wait for them to promote or do they have other ways of doing this.
Your Input will be greatly appreciated.

Most of the successful venders use JV brokers and affiliate managers with good track record to help them launch their products and also to recruit affiliates.

Oh ok. Jv brokers? Are there any sites where can i read more about this?
Do they charge initially? Or they just take a percentage of the profits?

Some usually charge an initial fee and then a % of your profits over a period of time. But you could always negotiate until you find something that fits in well with both of you.

What ever platform you use to get affiliates, clickbank, JV etc.. I do know affiliates like lots of tools i.e. banners, emails, auto responder messages, buttons etc: A full tool kit always encourages affiliates to join you - also a good commission of course.

JV brokers are the way to go. Their are some really good JV brokers on this forum like Willie Crawford. Otherwise its up to you. You can make a JV page for a launch you have coming up and then you can start gathering skype ID's and introduce yourself. Dont sound to spammy.

Places like Clickbank, Paydotcom, Jvzoo and Warriorplus and ever the Warrior Forum Affiliate sections are where most product owners looks for affiliates. You can also JV with other
    marketers in your niche.
If you have a special page for affiliates filled with promotional tools it
will helps attracts affiliates to want to promote your products.

One way you can look for Affiliates is to do the following:

    Go go to Google.com

Search using keywords related to your niche.

Look for any site currently promoting a Clickbank product or shows evidence of building a list.

Contact the owners and build a relationship with them.

Eventually point them in the direction of your product.

    Hope that helps,

    Chris

I have tried this before, but not many people responded to my email.

I believe this is because most people who promote Clickbank product and are ranked on Google, are usually affiliate review sites or a thin site; and I suppose the seldom check their webmail for these websites.

Thanks guys for your inputs. Anyway other than posting here for a JV? Any other sites where they promote JVs or something like that?
Jv brokers sites maybe? Or places where people meet to meet new JvPartners? Do this kind of sites exist?

To get good affiliates you have to give up opt-in on the squeeze page. Nobody in their senses who knows this business a little will promote a product that advertises free opt-in stuff on the squeeze page. So, you first have to solve the dilemma whether you want to sell through professional affiliates or make a list first. You cannot do both at the same time.

I dont really understand what you mean?
Why cant i just use both?
Wouldnt it be better if i have a list on top of that i also have a product for affiliates?
Dont really get what you mean.

Think it this way: why would an affiliate advertise your list?! He/she wants to make a sale, and get the commission. But if you block the road with free offers, it's not likely going to happen. And, CB is in a position that from the moment the customer subscribes to your list, its your customer, and you can sell through your own links. Therefore, nothing comes out of this for the affiliate who sent the person to you. Every more successful affiliate knows this, and won't promote such products.
So, you have this choice: either you build the list, and get only some newbie affiliates and little traffic, or give up list, and sell the product.

If you have a budget for advertising to jv partners you should create a jv page with an opt-in and then you could use sites like Warrior Plus, Muncheye, and WarriorJV to advertise to potential affiliates.

At WarriorJV.com we have over 1,000 WSO affiliates on board and we have a Facebook Group with over 1000 affiliates as well!

Great place to mastermind and find partners!

        Thanks Kenster,

I´ll definetely take a closer look at the site. This is the great idea to establish the site where JV partners can find each other and see which launches will start in future.

You could have said it better Kenster. The important thing is to build good rapport with them and get familiarize.

You can also go on google and type in similar products in your niche for example " Product name review" where you will find lots of review about that particular product.

All you have to do is contact them about your product launch and tell them what they stand to make promoting your product, make it enticing and you will get affiliates that way. I used this strategy too some time ago and it worked to my amazement.

I have used JV Alert and JVNotify, both are quite good. To be honest some of my top affiliates have come from contacting authority site owners in my niche and from attending networking events around my niche. I have also recently been using Twitter and Facebook as a method of making contact with some top affiliates, this often works better than email.

    Hello areoo,
Another way of finding affiliates is to visit YouTube and look through some of the related videos to your niche. As you already know, many affiliates are now using video reviews and video content to push products.

To take it a step further, do a search for the affiliates name or affiliate I.D. in Google and see what kind of results you get there.

OK. The bottom line is: if you want to sell: no opt-in on the sueeze page, just "Order now" button.

Go to squiddoo and put in some keywords for your niche, try to find lens builders who are prolific at building affiliate lens. Then send them a private message offer them a good deal and hopefully they will advertise your product on their lens or even build a lens around your product. Many of these squiddoo marketers will also have a list or a money site in your niche.

    You have two broad approaches:

    1) use sites like JVZOO where you can get scale in terms of the number of possibility - this is quick, but it's a "throw and see what hits" approach

    2) go the personal route - search the first few pages for all your major keywords, find good sites, contact the owners and get a personal dialogue going. This is more time consuming, challenging (because you WILL face rejection), but potentially more rewarding. Particularly if all off your potential affiliates turn you down for the same, or similar, reasons - such as not having demonstrated your current conversion numbers, or having a good affiliate "pack", you can really learn important lessons quickly and take action to change these issues.

One thing that works very well is searching in Google based on your niche's keyword. For example "excessive sweating" and then adding the text "powered by aweber"

It's a relatively quick way to make your efforts more effective because you'll know off the bat that the person has a list in your marketplace.

  • One of the best ways is to advertise your affiliate program through a link called "Affiliates" the bottom of every page on your site.

Anyone researching your market that comes across your site is a potential affiliate. I've had many affiliates discover me this way

There is an affiliate platform called jvzoo and when you create your own product, in the main page of your product you can make a bonus area with a few banners( not yours) ,
and then contact other product owners from jvzoo (because if they sell in jvzoo they are affiliates with big lists) and ask them if its possible for them to promote your product, and in exchange you will putt their banner in your bonus area, and they will have more traffic and add more value to your product

When all is said and done, good affiliate recruitment starts with good relationship building.

Affiliate getting strategies, methods, sites, and software are a start but shouldn't be the heart of your affiliate strategy. Building one good, honest, human relationship with an affiliate takes more time and has less instant gratification as doing a mail blast to affiliates but is a well better investment of your time.

    Good luck guys!
