Hey there,

This could be a question like, how long is a bit of string, but if I have a flat photoshop image and I get it fully coded, how much can I expect to pay?

Thanks for your imput,

It really depends on who is offering the service. Some guys will do it for $100 or even less if they are trying to make a "name" for themselves or just getting into the business.

Others, with more experience, of course, will charge 3 or 4 times that.

Best bet is to search Google for "psd to wordpress" or "psd to css" - and then see who offers Wordpress services.

Or you can wait and see if any Warriors have recommendations.

If you pay $200-300, that's probably not too bad for Wordpress because the price for that as opposed to just CSS or HTML is always a little higher.

PM me if you still need this. I'll give you a very reasonable quote over PM.

If the PSD is to scale and is still layered so it's easily choppable - it shouldn't cost the earth to have it converted. No more than a few hundred $ max.

There's ways to use 99designs and then there's ways. Some may consider it overpriced but I got so much free advice from the designers it was worth the cost. Posted my logo design project and then started looking around at the most popular designers. The ones I liked I invited them to bid on my project. Some didn`t bother replying but some said they would watch my project and then decide. This was to evaluate what kind of bids I was accepting and whether they could work for me. Many of the highly rated designers declined to bid on my project. Most did not reply when I asked them why. One of them sent me the following link about the not so cool logos to avoid.

After reading that I rejected all current designs and asked them to start all over again. Because wouldn't you know it most designs coming in used one or another technique that the post mentioned. Let me tell you if your website doesn't have a fav icon it doesn't stand out when a zillion tabs are open. On twitter for your followers, does your picture or logo stand out? If it doesn't your tweets are just one in hundred others.

    Does my post stand out?

depends on how complicated the theme is (does it have a slideshow, gallery, is jquery functionality needed?)

On elance I code the standard theme for $300 on average.

It depends on the theme and its functions. It could be from $100-$500.
