which mailing list provider

aweber needs re-confirmation when importing a list.

which other reliable mailing list provider is able import list (already opted in) without to re-confirm again.

it is very disruptive to always ask list users to re-confirm everytime when migrating a list.

Aweber will do that for you if what you say is true. When I switched to them, quite a few years back, they allowed me to import my list without any difficulty.

It is indeed. You can lose a high proportion of your list, that way.

This is why people should start off by using a very well-established, professional autoresponder with high deliverability, such as GetResponse or Aweber, to get the odds in their favor.

And never a free autoresponder: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7189490

There are circumstances under which Aweber or GetResponse will allow people to import a list without requiring re-confirmation, but they need to be very, very careful about it. It's easy to imagine what would happen if they were less strict about proof of list-ownership and previous opt-ins: they'd be abused by people importing bought lists, they'd get spam complaints from ISP's, their deliverability would drop, and their other clients' interests (and their own business) would be damaged.

MailChimp is a good system, you can import without re-confirmation, and they allow you free use (albeit on a limited platform) up to a certain level of subscribers. I really like their platform.

iContact also allows you to import subscribers without re-confirming.

Both are likely to ask you for your sign-up form links however, once you upload a certain number of subscribers, so you should have this to show them where you got the subscribers.

    Cheers! Joe

Might want to research GVO. It's an auto responder service made for internet marketers so it might work for ya.

And overall, I say Aweber is the best after having them for over a year...

3 Facts you might need in choosing your mailing list Provider

    1. Finding a legitimate email list provider
You are right to be cautious about this, as there are many unscrupulous businesses offering email lists. Many claim to be opt-in mailers when in fact they are spammers.

    2. Reasonable price and a guarantee of success
In this area you need to be realistic. After all, this is your business and your product. Advertising is part of the cost of doing business, and the burden is on you to bear that cost. This is a reality of business.

    3. Doing a trial run
I always recommend testing with any kind of direct response advertising. Many list owners will let you try mailing to a smaller sample to test the response. If the response rate is promising, you can roll out to the whole list with more confidence. The burden will still be on you to pay the cost of the advertising, but your risk is reduced because you're making a smaller buy. What constitutes a smaller sample will depend on your marketing plan and the size of the list. A sample could easily fall anywhere between 5,000 and 100,000 names.

Again, I urge you to be realistic about this matter of advertising. It's an unavoidable cost of doing business. You're going to have a very hard time convincing anyone else to share that cost. Many promising businesses (and their products) simply never get off the ground because they don't put in the time, effort, and money necessary to promote the product.

I'm with Aweber so my recommendation would be biased, ha!

Go with Aweber(still said it yo!).

However, if I jumped ship I'd run with Get Response as a lot of the marketers I know use either of the two.

aweber may accept your list if you can demonstrate that it is an opted in list. I'm with Manie on this; Aweber reccomended.
