Need a lot more info than that. Can you give some stats:

    Visitors/month
    Unique Visitors/month
How much revenue is it generating now?
    Alexa rank?

Those are just a few of the important things that potential buyers would want to know, but there could be a lot more depending on the type of site. Do you want to share the domain with us?

You really need to provide some more details. How old is the domain name?

Um... without any info, it's rather hard to say.
You could check out this site, and you might be able to get an idea.

In direct answer to your question - you can ask anything you want for your site. There are no rules that limit the amount you can ask for a web site.

Usually the difficult part is finding someone that will give you what your are asking. And the only way they are going to do that is if they believe the value of your site is greater than the value of the money they're going to hand over to you.

As others have said, the typical value of a site is dependent upon its age and history, its traffic, unique visitors, how well it converts, how much revenue it generates, how targeted it is, how unique it is among the niche competitors, how bad the prospective buyer wants it, and other criteria that may be important to the prospect.

Websites like that almost never give accurate estimates because they are basing it off traffic. They have no idea about your conversion rates, sales, overheads, etc.

How much money is your site making? Is it even making any money?

Need stats before it can be completely evaluated, but it's really worth whatever someone is willing to pay. Typically you can get at least 3 months of income for a site, but there are many other variables at play.

These "how much is my site worth" threads are becoming tiresome, especially since the OP's don't bother to give any meaningful stats, info for people to make an educated guess...

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.
