Recession Proof Internet Businesses

With the economic downturn many people are looking at an alternative way to make money. Several of them are even getting involved with an Internet business. However, it is very important that the business has some type of recession proof program.

Not everyone is looking to spend a couple thousand in startup costs. This is why a solid business should have a lower startup cost program, so people with limited funds can get in, and learn the tactics of Internet marketing. Then in time they can get involved with the higher ticket items. What does everyone else think about that?

Thank You,
Brian

I have really never given it much thought. Sounds like it could work, though.

We have those. Newbies can go to the WSO section, as I did, and get low cost info on how to get into marketing. Or they can go to clickbank and get a guide or buy into a membership niche.

I agree. In fact my business has a start up that runs between $2000 and $26,000 not for everyone. I just turned up a new opportunity that is in my opinion recession prof, has like 5 different business components, a residual stream and the start up cost is 0.

I am meeting with their CEO Monday. We are figuring the same thing. May not be a bad idea to add this to our other 2 businesses for people who are in a real pinch but are willing to work their way out if have a vehicle to do it with.

it's hard to start real online business as it need more money and it takes time to see money rolling. The best way to do is look for program that can make money fast. and choose the business model. start building your business. easy said than done. the first hurdle for most people that starting is moolah. i believe the business model that something to do with needs rather than wants. just my opinion. what do you think.

Act like there is no recession and this is the norm.

If you can grow your business now, then you are in good shape.

the key, in my opinion is the same old thing, "multiple strems of income", never put all your eggs in one basket!

My ebay business sucks now and i am glad I don't depend on that one source of revenue, actually it is just "lead generation".

For all that are growing their business in this current economic situation, expect and demand great roi in the near future!

I have never seen more adaptable people than im'ers!

if we are alive during an acopolypse, I am sure we can monetize it!

I think that because of the recession people need to be creative in their looking at things. I may not necessary be high start up cost rather drive and mindset. The point there also opportunities out there that don't even require start up cost to get started.

People are going to be open to change. Even though it's tough out there some people may not even be willing to do anything because of the comfort zone and lack of entrepreneurship.

If I knew then what I knew now........

I would not have tried to learn how to do everything on my own. Took too much time. The saying goes, "you can't save your way to a fortune"

Depends on your ultimate goals, how much you want to make. Business, still holds true. You have to have money to make money. Not investing money in your biz is like not watering your plant and wondering why the leaves are turning yellow.

With internet businesses, you can start up by simply investing your time.

For example application development which requires a certain skill set, which can be attained for free thanks to the information available on the internet.

Online gaming, web based accounting software are just some industries flourishing a the moment and not just because of the economic conditions, but because of the shift to digital culture.

      Hi Brian,

The wise man uses the search funtion above on this forum. This way you can learn a gazilion and will get ideas on what to do.

You can read good advices above but I know from my experience that every people is different from others, so the solution may also differ. What brings succes for Dan is not sure to be good for Bill.

You are the only judge on your present situation so you need to decide. It is a fact that to building business is needed your time or your money, and YOUR WORK. It is a wise thinking you start in small and if the money will soarings back then you can move toward to the high ticket items.

But learn the bases before everything. Everyone was a beginner sometimes. People here will be your friend and help if you ask them politely.

      Many successes,

      Sandor
