Should I Keep Or Let Go Of These Sites?

in my opinion that's a short term niche and the earnings are not justified, you should let go and work on long term niches

Is it something you want to do or are they websites you setup hoping to set them and forget them. I mean honestly, if they're websites you want to pursue and niches you're interested in, why not continue working with them and build on them?

It'll honestly depend on how much effort and time you want to devote to marketing this site and building it up. It has a relatively high Alexa rating so the traffic can't be great. Any site you build will require an intensive amount of work unless you're throwing a lot of PPC traffic at it.

If you're not willing to throw in the amount of time required to put efficient SEO into it and build traffic up, then I would honestly say ditch them.

To be honest I too think you should delete the sites since you are out of pocket and they arn't generating the sales you need.

However my suggestion would be to create free squidoo lenses as squidoo is a high ranking authority site and aim to promote much bigger seasonal products such as Halloween Costumes, Christmas Products and maybe even Valentines products.

I have an artificial christmas tree squidoo lens and at the moment I'm making a killing with amazon xmas sales.

But having said that you will also need to put in the extra work to help get your lenses on the 1st pages of google.

Hi

Since you only built them in March of this year, they may have gained some benefit for their age.

How are they ranking, how do they look, etc.

We are only about 3-4 months from active Easter promotions. I would review the sites and see if they have the potential for more with a little SEO and content between now and then.

Look at them again and last year's activity, if you don't see them doing any better than $10-20 again it may not be worth it.

This is just my opinion: Burn your bridges with these sites and move forward - not backward. The best thing about creating those sites in the first place was the experience you gained by knowing what doesn't work, or what hasn't worked for you. Take that knowledge and use the positives on your next sites, but this time focus more on evergreen niches.

How much money do you think these websites will bring in, in the future? Not much, that's almost safe to assume. So, take your focus away from strategies that have little to no income potential long term and create something much more meaningful that you can put a consistent amount of time into.
