Choice between video and popup for collecting emails

Hi Guys,

I'm stuck in this part of the designing of my site where I want to put in videos on most of the entry pages on the site, however, I am also considering to put a pop script (popup domination) to collect emails from visitors.

Which one is better? Videos on the site itself? Or going with the popup script to collect emails instead?
