Best way to cloak a link?
I have Adtrackz Gold and I tried the 'sticky' method which keeps your own domain in the address bar of the other site and is an iframe I think, but some sites I tested say they don't allow their site to be displayed in a frame, including PayPal, so I can't use that option. And then there's the 'Encrypt' option which has the raw destination URL in the address bar, but drops a cookie so that you get an affiliate commission, but apparently not all affiliate programs are compatible with this cloaking method. I am going to sell one of my own products but I mostly will be promoting affiliate products. I've been looking at Phantom Link Cloaker but I'm not sure if it offers any options beyond those I currently have with Adtrackz. Does anyone have an idea about what is the best cloaking method to use?
