Best State for Incorporating?

INTERNET MARKETING

I'm intending to form an LLC for my business blogs. Which state/s do you recommend. It seems that Nevada and Delaware are the best. I live in Illinois, which is not very business friendly. So I'm looking at Nevada and Delaware.

Any thoughts and input?

  I prefer Delaware from my experience. But you should get a professional to review your circumstances to see which is a better fit.

Nevada or Wyoming for LLC is best from what I have heard.

It is cheaper to incorporate in Delaware than Nevada. I used legalzoom to create my LLC. I started with Nevada and paid for their gold package and additional $49 for them to get my federal tax id instead of just completing the necessary paperwork for me. I then got an email saying that I would have to pay an additional $320 because Nevada requires you to have a business license and they charge a fee to file paperwork with list of officers. Delarware does not have this charge but the state filing fee for Deleware is $65 more than the state filing fee for Nevada. Also deleware is probably the fastest turnaround time in getting paperwork back to legalzoom once filed. Legalzoom advertises that the gold rush package will take 7-10 business days. For nevada it will be about 12 business days but for delaware it will take about 6-7 business days.

This is a good thread that isn't really talked about. Especially helpful b/c once you start making money in the IM business, it's very important to protect yourself and create a separate entity.

Next up is wondering those who make 6 or 7 figures in IM, what do they do to protect themselves from being heavily taxed in the US (aka. what tax shelters do they use?).

Wyoming is superior to Nevada.
No state income tax and citizenship is not required. Also Wyoming doesn't charge you the officer filing fee and there isn't a Wyoming state business license. The second years fee is around fifty bucks. Wyoming flies under the radar!

From what I heard from my from friends in IM and businesses, they definitely all agreed on Wyoming, and like others have stated it is under the radar.

I just took a look at Legalzoom...it is quite a bit cheaper to register at Wyoming. I have been putting this off buit now might just be a good time.
