2012 Survival Domains

I have quite a few 2012 survival domains, but I've been lazy with them and am not sure if I missed the boat. Think I could still sell them? Or any other ideas for how to make some money?

I have:
2012survivalsource
2012survivalsupply - currently an unmanaged amazon affiliate store
I-survived-2012
isurvived2012shirt

all are dot coms, and I also have isurvived2012 dot org which is a t-shirt site.

I hope I didn't violate any rules with this post. I made sure there was no link building in it. I just need to figure out what to do with these before the world ends or the year turns.

Many Thanks!

yeah you kind of missed the boat. If the world does end on 12/21/2012 then it will be too late to sell them.

The I survived 2012 domain could be of use with the way the economy has been.

If the world ends none of them will mean much. If it doesn't then I am sure you can use them for squeeze pages or something. Everything doesn't need to be about seo.

I would say that if you can afford to keep one or two go ahead and do it. You could always put current information on them and aged domains are always good to have.

Telescopes have been hot sellers in this niche over the last several years, and are expected to do well beyond Earth's expiration date. The interest in astronomy and archaeology has also spiked, with no end in sight.

Put them on auction, as you know that we are in the last month of our lives (now that we are practically in December, and the world is going to end this year), so this is the best month to sell the domains for rocket-high prices... ... Few more days to doomsday

Or, add thanks products for the festive season, celebrating that we escaped the year with all the blessings coming from upwards. Touch the sentiment of people and things could sell well.

Yeah, isn't there a group of doomsayers who believe in some Planet Na-boo-boo or something hiding behind the sun that will be revealed and bring forth the end of humanity? Telescope might be useful to see em coming...

depending on your resources - if you can cost effectively blast out some social media, you could probably sell some tees.

Make sure you have a good logo/image. Setup a social campaign to get likes, shares, pins, retweets....by giving away some shirts. You have about 10-14 days to get exposure. Might be worth a try.

I think that it is pretty much a dead idea and I would not waste time with this. Move on to something else.

I'm involved in a related niche and I do agree with some of the other posters that the 2012 niche is an uphill battle. I do make some passive income but that's because of a book I wrote a while back. Unfortunately I've seen many others struggle within this niche. Yet if this is something that you are passionate about then go for it. Don't just do it because you think you're gonna make money, if that's the case, you already lost.

Why would anyone want a 2012 survival domain? 2012 is nearly over. I never buy domains that are specific to a year if I want to build a long term business on it.

You're off by a week... EOD is 22 Dec...

and the survivalist niche is already alive and well. Look at ClickBanks top products and you'll see several survivalist products in the top 20

I bet the survivalist niche might revive. Suddenly they will probably push back doomsday another year or two.
Anyway, good luck to anyone who is in the survivalist niche.
