I didn't even know this existed.

I wonder is the sites who are stealing peoples content can be reported to this agency?

Kay, not sure what you are trying to say here? Can you explain more of what your expressing?

The link I posted was about internet crimes, I would think that theft would be considered an internet crime?

Copyright infringement would be different I think, where someone is displaying or using your product. While theft of your product would be a crime above copyright infringement?

You can't "STEAL" a digital product. If a "digital product" is stolen, it is loss of use(generally NOT applicable here, this is for removal of the base, or a physical delivery method like at a store), theft of proprietary/confidential data(generally not applicable here, this is for a more controlled delivery, or customer data), or COPYRIGHT infringement.

Try suing someone for acquiring your digital book or program with no copyright law referenced, and see how far you get.

The only thing that a person can do if someone stole their content is to actually email the hosting company or the registrar company and let them know about this.

In some cases, they will delete that person's account.

If they are not able to do anything, then you can't do anything accept move on in life.

I had people steal my articles and post it as their own. I did not want to get of course so I just ignored them and moved on. This has not caused any damage to me or them. I have no respect for those people.
