Facebook fan page question

Hi Guys

If I create 5 fan pages braching off my personal facebook account, do the visitors of those pages see my personal account (friends page) as well.

Also, would they be able to see all the other fan pages I have on my account?

Many thanks
Phil

No my friend, people will not see that Phil Wheatley unless Phil Wheatley goes around on his Fan page saying that he's Phil Wheatley.
So if you have multiple Fan pages under one account, then no worries my friend, your identity is kept to you yourself.

Even if you make someone an admin or moderator they still essentially wont see your Facebook account. They will only see your Fanpage identity so no worries.

You can display the pages owner in the info section and also add your other pages links to the info section too if you wanted but as standard no.

You can also link these to your profile to in many different ways.

Thanks guys!! By the way, I know you are not allowed to say "Please like us" on the facebook page itself, but I assume it's ok to say so on your website e.g Please visit our facebook page and 'like us' to be kept up to date. ???????????

    Cheers

Dont sweat it, facebook isn't looking at you or your website at all hours a day.
Outside of facebook you dont have to fear the big bad meanie.
people do it all the time, its wont get you penalized.
just dont do it on the fanpage itself.

Although, if someone were to report you... well then you would have to spell trouble backwards, now would you.
But no one would do that... competition be the exception however.

You most defiantly ARE allowed to say please like us on your fan page. You can say it 20x a day if you want, you can fan gate tabs, run contests, all sorts of things that instruct people to like you first.

The only thing you CAN NOT do is say please like us in the cover image (cant have any call to action for that matter)

Dont worry about facebook. the only time I see them coming after you is if you become some big shot or have a big shot fanpage.
Its like the FCC, they breath down the necks of prominent marketers like Frank Kern and others.
But we're nothing but a speck of dust to them otherwise.

You are allowed calls to action in posts and pictures just not in the cover photo, and on your site you can have find us on Facebook.

Check out here https://www.facebook.com/brandpermissions/index.php in the Referencing Facebook tab for full details.

    Hi,

When you create a Fan Page, from your personal profile, you are given the option to like the page. If you don't do this, then nobody will know it's you that create the page and you can stay anonymous.

Also, in the page settings, you can toggle on the page creator / admin. This will allow visitors to go to the pages about section and see who the admin / creator of the page is. If yo don't want this to be visible, then don't switch it on.

    Regards,
    Azu.
