5 opt-ins/day with 2 hours of work/day?

I've just discovered a method to get 5 opt-ins to my internet marketing list per day with spending roughly 2 hours of work per day on obtaining them.

These are free leads and they're (almost certainly) not on any other lists and they're starting from scratch, meaning most of them are new to IM, which sounds promising.

Do you think this method, although slow, would be worth the invested time and effort long term?

I was thinking it could also be extremely easy to outsource and generate 15 instead of 5 leads per day, but then I'd have to risk starting capital... maybe it's better to do it myself for a month or two to test the list's responsiveness first.

What do you think?

It shouldn't be hard to get 5 leads in the first place. Your squeeze should convert at 33% minimum. If you get 15 hits to that page, you should get 5 leads. 15 pageviews isn't much. All entirely scaleable. It just depends on how good your squeeze's conversion rate is.

Because I value my time more than that But I would consider outsourcing if I found the list responsive enough.

That's true, and there are probably lots of other methods, but this one's kind of better than others because the leads are very qualified. For example, I know for a fact that:

      - They've already been trying to earn money online (the slow way)
      - They ALREADY have an active Paypal account
      - Most of them are totally new to the concept of IM, specifically email marketing

If it is working for you now ... definitely keep it up.

Over time those '5 optins' might increase or decrease. I am sure there are ways to scale up what you are doing as well.

But keep going at it so you can get more time with it. After a month or so (if you haven't been doing it for that long) you will a good idea of how many consistent optins you can get from it.

Depending on your own skills, and the financial potency of your list, you can offer coaching programs for beginners. Little work, promising results, awesome payouts.

Above that, once you get these guys to a higher level, you got some partners for life.

So yeah, it's pretty worth it if their response rate is worth it...

You need to find what's working more in this 2 hour and make it a priority.

Find the 20 percent that make you the 80 percent of results, I know it's a common and over used sentence, but it can be applied well in some cases.

I would definitely outsource this if you find it's consistent.

There's a Virtual Assistant on fiverr who will give you two hours work for $5. I know that works out at $1 per lead but if the leads are as good as you say they are it could be worth it. Would you rather spend 2 hours of your time or $5?

Do your methods not build any momentum so you can eventually stop working and the leads will still come in?
No, unfortuntely the leads acquisition process (in this case) takes constant work. Perhaps it could be managed differently once the list grows a bit so people spread the word themselves, but that's not something you can count on in the early phase I suppose.
