Warrior,

Does product gravity really matter if you are promoting a ClickBank product to people in your list?

Not to me. And not at all to them (which is the point, really).

(I admit that I'm very unlikely indeed to be promoting a product with a very high gravity, anyway.)

This isn't very much of an issue at all, but if you want to read a little more, here are three threads which may interest you ...

Clickbank gravity - is there a sweet-spot here?

    Understanding Clickbank Gravity

Key concept: the big mistake to avoid is imagining that high gravity products are selling better, or are "easier to sell", than low gravity products. That isn't necessarily so at all: sometimes it's the exact opposite, and there are reasons for that, explained in the threads above, if you really want to read them. If it signifies much to you (and I'm not suggesting it necessarily should, because it's an "overblown issue" anyway), nearly all the people I know well who are making a living from selling ClickBank products seem to tend to prefer low gravity ones.

I think that it really matters. As I have experienced both.

I think the gravity should be irrelevant because this doesn't actually give you any indication of if a product is going to sell (or not) to YOUR list.

Much more important is the quality of the content, presentation, squeeze page, price and % given to you as an affiliate.

If all of these things point to a sale then why would you care about gravity? I say go with your own inclinations based on what you know about your audience.
