HUBPAGES not Accepting links

INTERNET MARKETING

Can i add a link to of my website in an articles posted to hubpages? I tried it but was was not allowed. is it a general rule. or am i doing something wrong.

Certain websites are banned. You cannot post links to clickbank or fiverr for example. There are many more like this.

i didnt place link of fiverr or clickbak. I only placed a link of a page of one of my worpress blog. so i dont know if it also not allowed

  I don't know about that, but you need to find some blogs and forums that are actually in your niche to post on. Go to Google, and put in "forum + your niche" to find forums to post on. Add to the conversation. Put your blog url in the signature file section. Look for blogs in your niche, and start by posting on ones that consistently out rank you for various terms.

You can link to your website providing that it has related content on it. You cannot link directly to a sales page or a squeeze page or promotional page.

In every site, especially the popular ones, there are rules to follow.
So, for hub pages, you can be allowed to post do-follow links if you get a profile score of 75. The purpose is to prevent spammers from spamming links and stuff.
