Have Clickbank ever refunded less that original amount?
Hi,
Never had this problem before, hope someone can help.
A customer requested a refund for a product of mine and I processed the refund in the normal manner via Clickbank. The refund was processed normally at my end and shows in my transactions as being refunded, all normal.
But this customer just sent me a steaming email calling me a fraudster and saying that I've refunded him less than his original purchase price of $10.35. He's claiming that he's short by about $4.
I can't see anything on Clickbank about reduced refunds except for the little bold bit below that doesn't help and only adds to the confusion.
I wondered if anyone here has seen this problem?

When a sale is returned, the customer normally receives a 100% refund. Payouts from that sale are debited back out of the corresponding vendor and affiliate accounts. Due to the digital format of ClickBank products, the customer retains the product and, in many cases, the customer has received a benefit from the product. In such cases, the refund issued to the customer may be for an amount less than the full purchase price.
