Where would you learn how to post on craigslist...

Hey Guys, I wanted to ask a question. If you wanted to learn how to post on craigslist where would you go to learn. Now what I mean by learning how to post I mean how to post multiple times without getting ghosted and keeping your ads live. I have a real opportunity that does good with craigslist advertising but I can seem to get all my ads live or from being ghosted. Now I know there are posting services on here but I would love to learn on my own since Im not to sure about my budget as far as hiring someone to do it for me. But like I said if you wanted to learn how to do it on your own where would you start to learn how to? Thank you for any suggestions...

Just do a search here on WF. There are tons of valuable threads and WF products that teach exactly what you're asking. Just go around do some research.

And most of the time, when it comes to Craigslist, they're totally outdated.

This isn't what you want to hear but nobody is going to hand you their strategies and methods on a silver platter. Craigslist has been a very competitive game and just tightened up more and more over the last few years. Just look at what high-volume posters like cladgenius are costing...you really need to test, test and TEST a lot until you find a way to get stuff to stick.

Also, keep in mind that it's going to be expensive: a posting bot, throw-away domains, decaptcher service, tons of proxies, PVA's...

As a last tip, you might have more luck learning about this stuff in certain not-so-white hat forums instead of here.

Please don't pm me about this.

Please don't spam them. It reflects and rebounds badly on all of us, collectively. This is part of the reason why internet marketers have the collective reputation we do. And it only leads to this kind of result: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post3748071

    It is what it is.

Internet Marketers have bad rep, but anyone that deals with advertising has bad rep...

An interesting quote by one of my author, F. Scott Fitzgerald

Advertising is a racket, like the movies and the brokerage business. You cannot be honest without admitting that its constructive contribution to humanity is exactly minus zero.

I'm not saying that I agree with it, but that's what a lot of people believe.

CL is still a big-time money maker for some people. There are a good number of "heavy hitters" posting multiple thousands of ads every single day. The software they use is mostly their own, they have many, many multiple accounts and quite the complex system.

It is extremely difficult to find good information on the subject, as it is with anything that has the abillity to generate really serious money. Of course, there are other issues with it, as Alexa pointed out. I know several people who are financially "killing it" with CL... but its not my game...

Eventually every backdoor is closed and it is a continuous mad dash for another "angle". Not exactly the receipe for long-term business success... but I guess each person must decide for themselves what route to take.

If you can figure out how to post on this forum I think you can easily figure out how to post on Craigslist. You don't need slick copywriting skills to post on Craigslist. Plain English and a detailed description is all you need to make the sale. As long as your potential customers are on Craigslist that's where you want to be. My friend gets lot of mechanic customers off Craigslist. Far more than he can handle.

I was looking into this as well. All the software seems really expensive, seems outdated nad there's no gurantee that you go spend $700 on multiple posting software and the next day craigslist catches on and it stops working.

There are obviously methods that work though judging by the amount of spam and reposts and webcam girls on ther.

Actually, I misunderstood your question. In order to post similar ads multiple times every day you're going to need multiple accounts with a different phone number setup on each account. However, this is risky and there's a good chance that you could get banned. It's better to have the privilege of posting 1 free ad every day than it is to not be able to post any ads.

I agree here. First off it will cost a lot of money to pull a fast one on Craigs list. No offense but you really need to be an expert to pull off what your doing and I don't think the WF is the place to get that kind of info. Many would say your trying to SPAM. UGH I hate that word and I don't even like saying it.

      Try a Black hat forum.

It is better to post a couple ads a day than be banned forever and worry about headache. Especially since you have a product/ad that does well.

I learned a lot also from years ago before they took away access to the Craigslist forum section. The really knowledgeable people are here these days.

Forget trying to trick CL. Posting ads manually in high volume cities with a good "hook" will work - and keep you from getting banned.

Does anyone know what the daily threshold, without having problems, for posting new ads is?

If I post 5-10 new ads every day, in relevant topics, and renew existing ads will I have a problem?

Auto Posting Software is more of a hassle than it is worth. You have to sit in front of the software the entire time just to watch out for error messages as they splash across your screen every five minutes.

Craigslist changes constantly. The best way to post is manually using a series of tools and a nice strategy that no matter what changes Craigslist will make, will not be effected. You also must learn to not get greedy when you do have a system that works. Just because it is working does not mean you should post hundreds of ads every day like a spam machine. Use it wisely, post frequently to make sure you get exposure, but don't over-do it or you will make enemies who will flag your ads down every time they see them.

Some good things will be coming soon to the Warrior Forum, I know this for a fact, that will help those who want to post on Craigslist in a reliable way. Take care.

    And one more thing...

I know that 90% of the "Craigslist Posting Services" that are available today will tell you they can post your ads, but in all reality, something will always come up. You will be lucky if they get HALF of your ads live. Usually these services go up, and then go down within weeks once they have too many customers who realize they cannot deliver. Be very careful when purchasing from these vendors, and ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS ask for proof, or a test run BEFORE sending them any money.

Michelangelo Lopez is known to do a lot of Craiglist marketing. I did an interview with him a while back and he's quite knowledgable. Just Google him.

I don't think that they allow this. If they catch you, they will delete your posts and maybe even your account. So that would be a waste of your time.

Before you post on their site, I would read their Terms first and foremost.

It is better to be safe then sorry.
