Using Fiverr for traffic

Does anyone care to share their recipe for fiverr traffic? I'm asking because I'm a big believer in "measure twice cut once".

I'm giving them a quality place to land, not to worry. Nothing spun or otherwise junky.

I have resources suggested and earmarked for the various stuff, and I'm doing plain old fashioned good content. Assuming a new site on an evergreen topic with 10 custom written articles.

I just want to see if there is a best practices before I reinvent the wheel.

I have bought solo ads from over 20 different people on Fivver and the results have never measured up. Not even for $5. For the most part they are out of country list that do not convert (even to badass capture pages) Most of them are using their safelist credits that you can get for free by clicking a few ads.

    Hope that helps.

Interesting, I didn't know that you could even purchase solo ads on Fiverr?

So far I only used their Twitter and Facebook blasts but needless to say that you don't get a lot of clicks from fake 300.000 twitter followers when they're all just bots...so far I didn't have luck in finding a useful gig for traffic. But then again, getting tons of good traffic for just $5...if it's too good to be true...you know how it goes.

You can use Fiverr for backlinks to increase your SEO rankings but as far as relying on Fiverr for traffic might not be a good idea.

I did try Fiverr twice for backlinking, but my two new sites did not even took off. I guess massive blast does not work anymore.

  • Personally I don't love the fiverr thing very much. I tried to some video maker there for creating some fresh content, but it turns out to be a mess. Not sure if I should have more test there later.

Fiverr and the "like sites" can be used very good to generate traffic.

For example, you can get 10,000s of facebook, twitter, youtube visitors for just $5.

I personally used them many times before.

I get good results with FREE offers, not the paid ones.

But, if you offer them something free to build your list, and forward them to a low ticket product, $7 for example, this will work.

I wish for you all the success.

    Hi,

I have used Fiverr to generate some instant type of traffic on couple of occasions but the quality of the traffic is so low that I got a huge bounce rate. So typically you will simply waste your penny and get more bounce rate instead of quality traffic.

If you really want to get more traffic then I believe you should focus on something where you can really get a targeted traffic.

Fiverr is just great for odd jobs or SEO related stuff and a fast logo or ebook design. Getting 100% high quality traffic for just $5 is too good to be true.

    Mark,

Try the Social bookmarking services. They've certainly shown positive results for me. Just about anything else on fiverr related to traffic, is a pure waste of your good money.

All Fiverr gigs are from bots and will NEVER make you ANY money whatsoever. Avoid Fiverr like the plague when it comes to these kinds of things.

I would never use fiverr for traffic purposes, just for facebook likes(not google+1s or tweet fake ones), which are less risk to get pushed down by google, i don't outsource my SEO stuff to people I doubt quality.

    Hi Mark

I have tried this on two occasions now - and both times were not really what i expected. The traffic does come through so the Fiverr salesman is not in the wrong but the majority of the traffic is from China. Korea and Taiwan. And like its been noted above - they dont convert at all.

So again i guess - targeted traffic is the key.

Iam also new to the IM game so iam learning and checking out whats out there. Let us know if you have more success.

Ive never tested this on fiverr, but how about creating a gig in the form of a short report about your niche with a link to your website at the bottom of each page of the report

Then if the niche is popular and enough buyers are looking for let's say an ebook about your niche then they will type it in the search bar and you may get traffic.

For example: If I type in YouTube Courses, or YouTube e-books and your report comes up - I might buy it, read it, and it offers some good value I may click through to your website.

Not sure if it will work or not, but that may be a way to get traffic

In another thread about how much money people do in fiverr there is one guy claiming to do 6K or so. He builds link wheels. They have been working for a long time.

I wouldn´t use them to send traffic to your site. But I would build a small wheel from good pr properties and contract to blast those.

Now then - this is more like the thing that 'marketers' should be aiming for, but sadly most forget about . . . this will start(yes, it will need enhancing up some) to get the icing on the cake . . . the cake being the $3.92 net you get paid from Fiverr

You're talking about a way to get buyers on a email list. by selling a book or hot sheet through the fiverr type sites rather then giving a book away you can make a heck of a lot of money on the backend by marketing to your list better yet when they buy the book send them through a funnel after they optin.

      Awesome idea.

This might be a good way to get banned also... Fiverr is very jealous of their database, they don´t give it away without a fight.

It's poor traffic generally. Occasionally you hit a nugget of gold but you need to be careful that you choose wisely to avoid having you site banned by google as a spamming locality I'd avoid. Instead pay a writer to create quality articles and gain organic longer term traffic

You can get the same traffic you're getting from fiverr gigs for less than $5.

    Adf.ly, vagex, traffic exchanges, etc.

Don't waste your money. Fiverr is good for some things, but not traffic.

Guys, guys, guys (and gals) cummon - get a grip of yourselves!

Why don't you all put your marketing hat on (everything you need is right here in this forum) and start to think of traffic from Fiverr in a different way rather than spammy backlinks, bot visitors, non existant facebook likes and every other (as Steve Wagenheim once called it) crappy advertising method that can ever be thought of on Fiverr. . .

Well I suppose you could always setup your own spammy traffic gig, and build a buyer's list from the folks that buy your gig.

    What are you suggesting Kevin?

I have used fiverr for sending out solo ad once. It showed a lot of traffic to my site but I didn't get much optins. I didn't try again. I think fiverr is best used for link building and not for direct traffic.

I have used Fiverr for many things and have been very pleased with most of them. However, solo ads is not one of them. Most of those gigs suck.

I find that if you assess the gigs by rating, you will get much better results. I have gotten some great graphic work and SEO work done by them.

I read that idea in a wso once before called Sleepy List Building. It's closed now but he had some other ideas around the fiverr and list building, as well.

You will not get banned if you make the link a clickable link within the ebook to opt in for something else.

I've tried Fiverr for traffic (to opt in for a free report) but I never had any success with it - zero optins. In my experience, Fiverr is not a good place to buy traffic - the quality is just too poor.

    Mark,

Be weary of Fiver traffic and even solo ads. Most of the time, they are junk traffic sources that do not convert. Sometimes they are even PTC (Paid to Click) users. For example, they get credits for clicking links, not actually viewing the content on the page you send them to.

I once did this as an experiment on Fiverr and got tons of traffic with a 99% bounce rate.
Some argue that it might have been my landing page. But I will point out that the majority of the traffic was from overseas (non-US) and sometimes even from the same IP block.

So the best sources of traffic are from people you KNOW and through using forums like this one

Fiverr is pretty good for videos if you have everything in photo format. If you are doing physical products it can be a little less valuable. Nonetheless as others said, youtube is a far better place to get cheap traffic. The chance of it actually converting is much higher.
