how do i convince someone to pay me to advertise them?

I'm developing a site that deals with a large fan base. However, these people already have a large following and i want to promote their stuff but i want them to pay me to do it.









How do i do that?

    By showing them how many visitors your site gets. If your site is worth advertising on you will get the advertisers.

    Or. By negotiating affiliate deals with them. Then you can add their banners and get paid each time someone purchases from your link.

    This is a tricky one. Let's go back a little bit before you started doing this business.
    And let me ask this:
    1. Is this service a necessity for someone? Did people ask for this to be there in the first place?

    2. Or, did you create this business because you thought that they needed it?

    If it is the last one, then I have bad news for you. You have to create a service that people beg for.

    And if people are begging for it you wouldn't have a problem to sell it. You just come back to the people that asked for it and tell them you have a solution for them.

    You are best to tell them you have a large following and then strike up an affiliate deal or find products in the niche that already have affiliate programs. If done properly you'll make a lot more money doing this than just charging them for advertising.

      Excellent advice, make sure you actually have the large following first though!

      Try and find a local, very local, niche that is not being serviced by anyone, then say to your "potential clients" Hey, I have the only "X" and would like to market you|your services|your products|your whatever they have, next to it... this shows you have done your research on the site|place you want to put adverts or promo links on

    If your site really has a large fan base with interesting and noteworthy content, then you don't have to worry about finding ways to get these people to promote or advertise their stuff. Just focus on the regular posts of your content and, in time, you'll be surprised to hear their proposals. They will just send you emails asking you to advertise and promote their stuff. So, continue doing what you ought to...
