Just Got my First Sale!

Ha, thought I'd never make a post like this

After learning about IM/mmo last summer, trying to promote a product and failing (chose a wrong product) leaving im for a few months, coming back to it this January, trying to chase too many ideas at the same time (I have a folder with about a dozen of "how you can make money" posts from wf)

At the end of March I decided that I need to focus better or I'll never get any where with this stuff. So i chose a cpa product, made a simple but nice looking wordpress site, and decided that I will write 3 articles a day and submit them to ezinearticles and some other directories, as well as add a post to the wp site for better seo. I've also made a squidoo page, that I plan to update a few times a week.

The result? It's April 6 and I got my first sale today! The rush of excitement is awesome

Anyway, let this post serve as inspiration to all the warriors out there trying to get their first sale. All you need to do is come up with a plan and stick with it, and you will get results!

  • Congrats on your first sale, it definitely gives you the motivation to keep going forward. Article marketing and blog promotion is definitely a low risk way of promoting CPA offers. I've done well myself using a similar method. Wish you all the best, and keep it up!!!

    • Excellent! Congrats!

Build on it, and then go get some more eggs - but put them in some different baskets.
  • Great stuff. Feels good doesn't it? I wish you more success in the future
  • Nice congrats! It's the best feeling in the world to make your first sale. Watch how you'll make sales quicker than it took you to make your first.
  • Awesome! I remember how it felt the first time I made a sale $16.31, will never forget it Stick to your working formula and repeat it until you are doing 1-2 sales per day, then 2-4 then, 4-5 then you know what to do in order to make $100,000 a year
  • Congrats on the first sale!
  • congratulations man! a great feeling!
  • Congratulations! It's the first rung on the ladder that gets you to the top. Don't forget it!

  • Congrats on your fist sale! I remember when I had my first sale too. It's pretty exciting! After getting that first sale out of the way you start thinking, hey, I can make many more sales. Keep on working at it and you'll see many more coming to you!

Congratulations and keep up the great work!
  • That's great! Congratulations!
  • Keep up the good work J.

  • Hah, This reminds me of the day when I made my first sale! It was a long time ago but I can still remember it. I was promoting a product that paid a $40 commision.... and $40 was a lot of money for me back then XD

Funny thing is... I was much happier back then, than I am today. Greed gets to everyone I guess... :/ lol
  • GRATZ!!! I derive inspiration from your post as i have yet to get my first sales, having started IM almost 2 months back. I'm still working hard!!

    • First, I would like to congratulation your first sale.

As I always tell others, this is the first step to IM success. You have made the right move and now all you need is to replicate the success. And many more sales will be coming your way. So, don't stop what you are doing right but replicate them for more niches. That is what I had gone through and it is worth every effort that you are going to put it. Your pot of gold is at the end of the rainbow. So be sure that you carry on and soon you will be earning hundred sales and thousand sales.
  • Congrats on your first sale. And keep up the good work.
  • Congratulations for your first sale. It is indeed worth or waiting for many years, months or weeks in your first sale it is a matter of patience and perseverance. Just always relax.
  • COngrats! I remember when I made my very first sale about 4 months ago. It does feel really good. Now, you have to keep it up. Try to push the goal to 2 sales next week.

    • Thanks for the post...very encouraging.

I'm in the "just starting out" camp and am clearly slogging through the same stuff - so many things to try...things to promote...etc...etc.

Can you share how you were able to focus on just one aspect? Why did you choose writing articles? Can you share with a total newb how you went about monetizing those articles?
