What to do with dormant domains?

I have just over 40 domains laying dormant.

They are all decent names, nothing completely stupid.

Some people told me to cash park them, others told me to stick them up for auction.

Since getting into IM it seems that I could make a small blog network for SEO over the next 6 months?

I am probably underestimating the amount of work it would take to create that blog network so it would be good if someone that has done it before could tell me.

Do some cleaning and let some expire. Not worth keeping if they are just going to lay dormant and waste your money and time...

You can list them on SEDO.com and do both at the same time.

The jack of all trades is the master at none. Get one website super successful... Move on to the next. No need in trying to do 40 things at once. Focus on 1 or 2 at the most to keep laser targeted focus.

I had asked a similar question in some other section of the forum. What about aging the domain names by publishing a one-page site? Especially useful for those who can put unlimited domains with their hosts? So that when we get around to working on them, Google will consider it to be an "aged domain" rather than a new one?

By doing that you would be creating 40 websites... lol. And to top it off if you didn't do anything with the websites it wouldn't be worth backlinking them to anything.

Get rid of them and start 1 main/central website that you can dedicate 100% of your efforts on.

When I got sick of my sites, I forwarded the domains to a relevant CPA offer or affiliate product while I wait for them to expire.

So assuming they are still getting traffic like mine, you dont NEED a website to make $ with it. All you need is the domain, then just forward to a CPA or affiliate product.

Would it be a better option if you tried to sell them instead of letting them expire?

I'm concern that if you make your 40 domain to seo network,it seem
ineffectual for google now. Because i'm try to make it similar, but it seem ineffective.Present google is focus and value "seo network" less than past.
