Lost Income...Squidoo Lenses

So I just had two tier 1 lenses locked on squidoo, lenses that have been untouched by them for the better part of 3-6 months.

Anyone else have this happen, that's over $100 a month that I just lost....wth...

    No never had it happen. Valuable lesson learned for $100 a month is priceless. Rely on your own site through your own hosting.

    Did they give any reason why the lenses were locked? What was the topic of them?

    Yes, it's happened to countless Warriors.

    In the long run, I'm afraid it makes very little sense to build your business on websites you don't own or control.

    The problem is is when your putting your control in another company that can cause them to hurt you very closely. Therefore, if you see you have good writing, you should take control of it yourself.

    That's why i dont do Squidoo... nor Hubpages. You should start a blog and make money with it the way that you did with Squidoo. You'll be good to go then.

      Well the $100/month was from squidoo revenue share... =(


      They were lenses that we about tattoos, I removed a couple of affiliate links from them to help "improve quality" which was obviously already there due to the high amount of CTR and Interactions on my lens, hopefully squidoo gives it back....who knows...

      Anyways the tattoo niche is a big looker niche, I have always thought about starting a website for ad revenue, but I doubt I would get enough traffic to earn from that, and being such a non buyer niche, squidoo was the only relevant want to earn writing about one of my hobbies....oh well
