Is there any way that I can add some HTML code onto a squidoo lens?

  • Sure. Go to your dashboard where your lens are listed. Click 'edit' in the drop down for the lens you want to work on. When you get to that lens, click edit on the modules you want to add the html code to. Add your code, click save, then publish.
    Done!
  • Thanks, but it is not working. I am trying to add the Amazon code below:

    <iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=IDHASBE...FF&f=ifr&nou=1" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>

It is just not showing up.
  • Let me tell you what I am trying to do.

I am trying to promote a Amazon product using a Squidoo lens, but I do not want to use the Squidoo Amazon module because I dont know how I will earn the money if I use that module.

I will prefer to add my own code with my affiliate link already embedded.
  • Sorry it takes me awhile to respond because I'm on dial up. I have a lens with Amazon products on it, but I only used the text link script from Amazon, and they work fine.
You may want to PM Tiffany Dow. She adds Amazon to a lot of her lenses she flips.
  • Amazon is added to your lense by pre-defined modules that you can then add or remove product to/from.

Simply add an amazon module(s) to your lens, and then filter in which products you wish to promote..

You won't get any luck inserting iframe's into any of the modules at squidoo..

    Peace

  • They once allowed iframes but stopped over a year ago. There's already an Amazon module you can use. Just make sure they have your correct amazon aff id in your squidoo account.
  • There is a special tool for creating Amazon Links for Squidoo, that look very much like the ones Amazon provide but are 100% compatible with your lens. Perfect for Amazon Associates looking to earn more revenue.

I wrote a blog post about it here on WarriorForum:

(Squidoo's own Amazon modules are very good though, and much easier to setup)
