Top 10 Reasons Why I Love Internet Marketing! Are Your Reasons Same As Mine?

Here are my 10 reasons for loving Internet Marketing:

1. It allows me to earn a nice income from the comfort of my home.

2. I can sleep late at night and wake up late the next day.

3. It allows me to go out on a vacation or picnic whenever I want. I don't have to wait for weekends or apply for leave.

4. I can work for 10 hours one day and work for just 30 minutes the next day.

5. I can skip working for a day or two if I am not feeling well.

6. I don't have to commute to work for hours in traffic.

7. I can be lazy and still make money

8. I can do business without having to deal with any hassle of creating or shipping physical products. I don't even have to step out of my home if I don't want to.

9. Any local problems or situations don't have much impact on my business. Only major global happenings might have some effect. Any weather or climate changes don't affect me. Let it rain outside or let it be sunny, I can keep working on my laptop.

10. My wife doesn't have to know how much money I am making. I can keep it a secret!

Oh you can be lazy and still make money? Let me know how that works out for you.

Honestly, before I worked online I had a whole barrage of 9-5 crap jobs like McDonalds, Arbys, a minimum wage factory, Frisch's big Boy and I was in the Army in 2006. Obviously I didn't wish to make a career out of any of those but the most challenging thing I ever did was the US Army.

I like internet marketing because it's damn hard work. Seeing people that think you can just slack off all day and make money is insulting to the people who do work hard because if you really think that's what the Gurus do all day, you're sadly mistaken or you've seen too many infomercials.

Your hands will hurt, you will do a lot of work for free, you will have a lot of failures, you will be tired at times but I love it. I would never trade this profession for anything else in the world and I couldn't go back to a typical 9-5 job if I tried. The only time I wake up at 9 is if I hear my Skype or phone go off because a client is trying to get a hold of me.

I honestly forgot what the other 9 of your reasons were because all I'm focusing on is #7. "I can be lazy and make money". No... no you can't.

2 - It lets me help others and make money

While some of the reasons you listed are true, for me, the 7th reason is a moot one.
It does not necessarily follow that you can still earn and make money by being lazy

I would also like to add this on the list:
You can be your own boss...

I don't love "internet marketing" because as Dan Kennedy said, "Internet marketing is a flawed idea, it's like saying because I have an ad in the yellow pages, I'm a phonebook marketer...."

I love direct response marketing, because you get exactly what you put into it. You can take words, put them together and present them to a market and extract dollars in exchange for a desired outcome.

I love it because you can measure and manage every aspect of it. It's like Jeet Kun Do for business, take and use what works and discard what doesn't.

And I love it because I can get push-button passive income autopilot instant internet billions in my underwear on a beach for $13!!!! Lol

That is a plus but it does take time. No one logs into the internet for the first time and makes money right away. There is a learning curve.

That is a great benefit because it allows you to leave your life and no one can tell you when to wake up, take a break, when you can go on vacation, and when to return to work after your lunch is over with.

    Only to the bathroom.

That I don't agree with so much because you can't be lazy when you get started. Things will take time to really move forward. Before that happens, you need to work hard and smart to set everything up. Once everything is working properly and you are making sales on auto-pilot, then you can take things a little easier.

Those are the exact words that raise my spirit when my motivation falters.

    11. As soon as someone asks "what do you do", you know you're in for an hour long conversation.

    PS
It's easier just to say "I sell drugs".

And if you don't feel like getting too much into it, just tell them that you are selling products online for other companies and earning a commission when someone buys. Kind of like a middleman.

That is what I say when I don't feel like getting into a long conversation.

I believe mine will relate to many of your choices which is FREEDOM!

Having the freedom to do what you want, when you want -- I would say is a much bigger advantage then the potential money you can make from internet marketing.

Internet Marketing is my dream.. seriously. Of course if you are very lazy during work I dont know if you are still making money but I admit there are some lazy people making money online too. That's why I wanna try Internet marketing.

Many people seem to object to the point I raised about being lazy. What I meant to say was we can outsource a lot of the manual stuff to other people for pennies and still make a damn good living. Of course, it won't be possible for newbies who are just starting out.

Mine in no particular order except #1:

    1. I have gotten to stay home and raise my babies <3

    2. I don't ever have to ask anyone for a raise.

    3. I don't have to do what anyone else says (a boss or a "team")

    4. I have no coworkers. Thank GOD for this.

    5. I love seeing people email me and say I helped change their lives.

    6. I get to mix it up and do different things every day - every HOUR if I want to.

    7. I have gotten to befriend people all around the world rather than just my state and city.

    8. I get to have a flexible day - go see school plays, take a day off when I need or want to, etc.

    9. It's made me look at the world with a more insightful eye (I now know when I'm being sold to or influenced way more)

    10. No rush hour traffic (here in DFW it's awful)

That could be true as a result, but for a starter, you really have to sweat it, fight sleeping for a while, continue suffering, fight frustration, and still: re-plan, keep moving forward, spend more even if you haven't profited anything yet!!

That's is the starter's mind whether he's a newbie or even a good learner!

Very simple reasons for me - It gives me flexibility of time to do the thing I am passionate about (IM itself), and I will be able to scale up my income if I put in harder (and smarter) work, as compared to working in the corporate world where my salary is determined by the boss and company.

    Cheers,
    Lester

All in all, the best part of IM is, I am my boss. It is my own business and I can run it in the way I like.

Not really. You can just say you are marketing other people's products on the internet for commission. That is if you are doing affiliate marketing. If you are selling your own products you can say so. You don't really need powerpoint presentation for that.
