Landing Pages That CONVERT

Warriors!

I recently upgraded to the Thesis 2.0 framework and I'm looking to create a landing page.

I've browsed countless threads and have still yet to come up with a solid tutorial or article on how to set one up.

If you've got any articles, videos, or other resources I'd appreciate the help!

Cheers!

- Chris

Do you have access to WarriorPlus.com or JVZoo?

If yes, find a WSO that sold more than 1000+ copies and take a look at that sales page...then replicate and twist!

A "landing page" can be any sort of page you like, Chris. Are you asking about "squeeze pages", or "sales pages", perhaps?

          Alexa,

You're right, I meant a Sales page, not a squeeze page for collecting leads.

          Do you have any resources?

          Thanks!

Thanks for clarifying ... I'm not a Wordpress user but the one I see very widely recommended is "Optimize Press", and I've certainly seen some very good pages which have been made with it. But the wording of the copy is going to be hugely more important than how the site's made.

Check out Optimize Press. It creates squeeze pages, sales pages, blogs, redirect pages, membership sites, and product launch sites. You can create a sub domain inside your original domain so you do not mess with your original theme. Optimize press uploads as a theme.

      JamesRich,

Yeah one of my buddies uses optimize press and he says it's pretty good for creating sales pages. I'd definitely consider doing that but I've already spent a bunch of time designing my current website and would hate to start over. I'll definitely check it out though, thanks brother.

You don't have to start over. Create another wordpress site... For example... Yoursite.com - Create YourSite.com/video

Load the optimize press theme in that site and use that site for all of your sales page and squeeze page needs. It will not affect your other site but still be on the same domain.

I have optimize press and want to create a separate squeeze page without affecting my current theme.

I know how to create a video.Yoursite.com subdomain.

          How do I create a Yoursite.com/video domain?

          The latter looks much nicer.

Use optimize press. I have a friend who uses this and she's a complete newbie. But her site and opt-in page looks really good - all from this software.

The two best wordpress based tools/software for create fast squeeze pages and sales pages would be optimize press and kajabi... optimize press being the much cheaper of the two.

I am thinking about purchasing Optimize Press, but its is quite expensive at $197.

Can Optimize Press be used on a subdomain and sales pages designed so it does not look like its part of your site?

But can you also integrate within your site's theme if you wish to?

Are there wide variety of sales templates?

Are there good free or cheaper alternatives to Optimize Press?

Separately, do you think a presell page (review, really) should look like a sales page?

I noticed that Aweber can trasform RSS feeds to email newsletters. Do I really need to create special info to send out when I could just send out my regular blogs in the form emails, and from time to time sneak in offers? Is this going to work?

It's $97 and can be used on any domain you own, well worth the costs trust me

I used a free version of a plugin called WP SalesLetter to create this page:

Sample: Consumer Software | SEO Web Copy, PPC Ads, & News Releases

The paid version I believe offers a little more in the way of looks, and I'm 90% sure he has different themes for it now. All you do is install the plugin, and then you can select the salesletter template when you create your page.

The version from my link is a year-and-a-half old, and it's the free version. You can find the paid version at WordPress Sales Letter - WP Sales Letter Plugin, but right now I can't find any examples on his site.

Thesis 2 is great an advance framework of WordPress.

    I do agree with others.
You can use Optimize Press theme for your sales page.
But if you want to have a sales page using Thesis 2 it would be great too.

    Good luck bro.

I think I will go with Optimize Press at $97 because I want to make the sales pages as professional looking as possible.

I am not if designing review pages like sales pages is the way to go. I think sales pages are better when you sell your own products 9which I will be doing, but most of affiliate will be review based). Pro Affiliate, which costs the same as Optimize Press, is probably a better option because they offer review pages. You can review individual products or review several products as part of an overall mini site.

Review Theme | Review WordPress Theme | Affiliate WordPress Theme

Optimize Press does offer lots of extras, though, like graphic packs, more template options, but since much of my affiliate work will be reviews rather than selling my own products, I think review options will be good to have.

Most of the sites I see are using optimize press and usually they look clean and I hear they are user friendly as well. Hope this helps.
