What's the best system for paying affiliates?

I have a cracking new product going up on click bank next week.

It's $67 usd but I pay 52.5%commission. Massive market.

What's the forum's opinion on an independent system so my affiliates don't have to go thru click bank? Looking for a drop dead simple way so they just register as affiliate, get link and get paid.

Thanks in advance!

Norm.

  • idevaffiliate works well if you want to manage your own affiliate program. I currently use Nanacast, which also manages everything relating to membership sites.

According to my opinion "Nanacast" is the best.

Why are you trying to avoid ClickBank, may I ask?

May I suggest that you consider the viewpoint from a slightly different perspective, Norm? That of the serious, professional affiliate.

What matters more than almost anything else, from our perspective, is that we won't be dependent on the vendor for payment.

The advantage to us of ClickBank (and a few other less-well-established, much smaller, less-well-known, similar "networks") is that our payments are reliable, and automated, without ever giving us the risk of a cashflow/"chasing"/admin problem over not being paid promptly and efficiently.

With over 15,000 products for us to promote, on ClickBank alone, why would we be interested in looking at something "independent", with all its attached risks?

Let me explain it simply and clearly from my own perspective as a full-time affiliate: if you sell your product on ClickBank, I'll see it (because scouring the ClickBank Marketplace regularly is a routine part of my "job"). If you set it up in the "independent" format you refer to above, then I'm not even willing to look at it if someone does happen to tell me about it. And I'm not the only one, by a long way.

(If you're already a very well-known vendor, with an longstanding reputation for fast and efficient affiliate payouts, I admit it might be a little bit different, and some affiliates who've known and trusted you for a long time might be willing to make an exception.)

The ones you want are at ClickBank, probably. That's even simpler for us. We don't have to "register as an affiliate". We've already done that and are making our livings there. That's why you should perhaps be there, too.

I'm not talking only about ClickBank, here - I'm just using it as the best-known example. There are other networks we'll look at too (though ClickBank is the biggest by far). But not "independent systems". A lot of us won't trust those, and the reality is that we don't need to.

To the people you (presumably) most want to attract as affiliates, it matters a lot by whom we get paid.

I trust ClickBank to track correctly, and pay me correctly and on time.

With an independent affiliate program how do I know I can trust them?
