Hi Warriors.

Where can I get a 1 page squeeze page that is NOT linked to any other website or a blog page?

Just an independent squeeze page attached to a domain name which can have a video on it, and also when a visitor enters their name and email, a copy of my free ebook is downloaded to their pc.

Thank you.

Do you mean you are using wordpress? You can use static squeeze pages and upload to your server or use a blank page template.

If you are not familiar with anything like that, PM me, I can help you.

So you can just can create a standalone squeeze page and upload it to the server, why does it have any link to other pages on your site?

You can easily create a one page website.

If you know basic HTML you can write it yourself. It isn't at all hard and is a skill that you probably need anyway. Google HTML tutorials.

Alternatively you can get any number of squeeze page templates - again Google 'squeeze page template', but chances are you are going to need that small bit of HTML knowledge to know how to use them.

In answer to your question, you don't HAVE to have a page on your domain linked to anything. A website can be just a single page. If you plan to send traffic to that page by PPC or some other means then a single page website is fine. However, if you want Google to send you traffic, you'll probably need more breadth and depth to your site.

All a squeeze page MUST have is somewhere for the visitor to enter their email address (and maybe their name) to be added to your email list. All autoresponders will provide you with the code to put on the squeeze page that creates the opt-in form. Again, though, you'll need a basic understanding of HTML (and perhaps CSS) to know how to do it.

I suppose you could outsource, but this is such a basic skill requirement that an hour spent learning it will be time very well spent.

Look for some around the place. Sounds like you just want a generic HTML page. There is plenty around.

I personally would use OptimizePress. If you have a good product, it makes sense to invest in a powerful squeeze page. There are free alternatives out there but I find the conversion rates are higher on OP. Remember you are building a long term online business by building a tangible Asset list and then pitching your paid product or affiliate products later on after providing value regularly.

The only difference between OP and a standalone squeeze page is the fact that OP is hosted on Wordpress. You can create squeeze pages that look identical to the ones created using OP without having to use Wordpress. The truth is for a basic squeeze page OP, Wordpress and OP is overkill. You shouldn't need to install Wordpress just to have a simple squeeze page on your domain. People overuse Wordpress these days.

Use Optimize press. Get wordpress is you don't have it. Invest in your marketing. Optimize Press is worth a $1,000 but they sell it for $97. Its a no brainer.

He said he does NOT want to use Wordpress and he shouldn't need to for a simple squeeze page -- it's overkill.

Yeah it might be overkill for you but Optimize press helps me get 40-60% conversions and I make the pages in less then 5 minutes. So... go about it in the tedious way or the simple way. I simply just suggest solutions that save people time and money.

        Hey James,

That is great advice and when I used OP, I had the same comments as you. Sometimes you have to invest in certain tools that will propel your business to the next level. I look at it this way, if I was a Gardener, I would have to invest in a lawn mower, some trimming tools, safety equipment and a van to transport the tools which would cost me thousands of dollars. The reason why we are in this great forum is to learn/share/create/improve our Internet Marketing business, whatever the IM Business model. So wouldn't it be wise to invest in certain essential tools to grow your business and reputation? The costs will be much less than many other professionals out there.

Will, I understand what your saying but if the product is good, doesn't it make sense to invest in some quality tools. I had a fellow warrior set up a free squeeze page spending hours, he did the SEO, got the traffic to the site but no conversions. He then had to waste more time uninstalling what he had set up and added OP, within a few weeks, he was getting far better conversions. James also confirmed with his stats that OP does have greater conversion rates than other squeeze pages. Greater conversions as we all know means more sales and profits.

        Cheers

If you want to make squeeze pages you can try this software. Its drag and drop, comes with 10 templates, over 200 graphics and its only $27, which is a lot better than a hundred bucks for optimize press. Best of all this is not a part of WordPress so you can install it in a directory and make stand alone squeeze pages.
