Advertising With AdFly?

10,000 pageviews for $5? I know none of it is targeted, but if your squeeze page is attention grabbing, surely it'll be a worthwhile purchase?

Has anyone thought about doing this?

    Hiya,

This is a good idea, Have done it once when they were running a special promo for $3 and had simple sales letter got 350 out of 10,000 and quite happy as most of the time adFly- ads I do close them or press skip to content.

But surely it does work as long as we got something nice.

I have tried adFly for adult niche and really good click through and customer retention rate was high.

    Regards,
    Swrajit

I have used them before in the past, sometimes with profitable results.

The main issue is that the traffic is so untargeted that your conversion rates are going to be dismal no matter what you're offering.

However, the flipside is that you can get large volumes of real eyeballs looking at your stuff on the cheap, and you can end up making money with them.

I always had decent success with AdFly traffic by directing it to various email and zip submit CPA offers.

For example, one free gas card offer was paying $0.65 per email submit, and I got 53 from a $5 campaign on AdFly, which netted me about $30 in profit.

Not bad, but the traffic is so hit or miss, I quickly gave up trying to build a stable revenue stream based on this form of traffic.

For the low prices it is definitely worth testing though, you never know, you might get lucky and bring in some real dough...

And what do you think of getting adfly traffic to get Facebook likes? Could it work?

Hadn't thought of that. No one expects to see Facebook pop up in front of them when they see AdFly. Could just work, although, once again, pretty untargeted. I'd say you'd have better results with the squeeze. But hey! Who knows until you give it a shot!

Personally, I have never tried this one, but you guys are making me willing to give it a try!
I did join some CPA networks well-known and they have greater offers, whats more to give 'em a shot

It's one of those traffic sources that can be good for testing things (ie: split testing different squeeze pages, etc) but apart from that I haven't found the traffic to be very useful at all. There's better places you can go to get both quality and quantity.

Remember, traffic is just like anything else in life. If the traffic is very cheap there's generally a very good reason for that.

LOL, the reason is that all of these people aren't willing to make money or something else, just to grasp some free downloads eheh

I've heard others report response similar to what Swrajit mentioned, although I just actually tried my first campaign personally with AdFly last week.

Looks like I have a little learning to do myself since I was promoting an offer only valid in USA, so I bought two of the $5 for 1,000 views option instead of the 10,000 option that's so well known. I had poor results for my campaign as I didn't feel that I spent enough time building a compelling headline, and it was for a high ticket item, which I've heard does not convert well with low cost traffic?

I need to try them again in the future after I have a little better squeeze page setup for a more compelling offer, with better short copy.

    Best regards,

    Randall

I bought AdFly traffic when I was newbie to Internet Marketing. The problem I had with them was that the optins were not responding at all and it felt like I could have spent the money better somewhere else.

Haha. That's your ad created 5 hours ago and has zero sales. So I guess you didn't get $350 for $5 after all.

I've alluded to the fact that it's crappy traffic. I'm interested in it because of the bulk of traffic for next to nothing.

I've done some paid advertising with adfly to build a list but like you mentioned it's extremely un-targeted.
