Hey folks - one of our products is a DVD-ROM with videos on it. I could use some feedback from the Warriors if you have a minute.

Now, we can do some cool stuff with DVD-ROM, like pack more video onto the disk, but with this product we aren't likely to need that space. We can also break up the chapters and make them easier to navigate with an HTML/Flash interface. But - you gotta play DVD-ROMs on a computer, right?

If you had your choice, would you rather get training videos in a set-top DVD that you can play on your television, or a DVD-ROM that is designed to be used on your computer? Or does it depend on how good the interface is?

    Hi Dan,

This is just a personal preferrence, but I spend a lot of time at my computer as it is. When I get ahold of some good educational DVDs, I just go nuts if I can watch from the comfort of my CrazyBoy recliner.

Unless there is interactive material that needs to partner with my CPU to be useful, give me the TV version every time.

I also prefer the tv over the computer. My 2 cents.
