Quick help please, creating a blog site?

Is there anyway for us to have the homepage of our website to be the blog already?

Because currently, on my site I do have a home page where I can put some details but I have to create a sub domain for the blog.

I want the homepage to be the blog already where I can edit it and put some ads at the side of it and just have a sub domain for the other features.

Bit of help for a newbie?

    You can install a wordpress blog through Fantastico in your control panel with your hosting. Its really simple. Look it up on You Tube if you run into any problems. Your homepage can be a blog with wordpress.

      In Wordpress go into settings - writing. This will show you the option to have a static homepage or make your latest post be the homepage.

    If you want your blog homepage to be "static" in wordpress, make it a page and set it a homepage under settings

    either create your own blog -using wordpress-. they have a lot of themes that as soon as the visitor comes to your website, it will show that theme, the blog .. otherwise, point your index to redirect to your blog page
