Why do people even buy them?

Hello warriors!

I was looking at the"complete websites for sale" section of the forum for the first time, and I was truely surprised and appalled by the sites that were selling.

People are buying these little niche sites with replicated content and design for 20$ each, and I see no point in it.

These are cookie cutter websites, so why are people wasting their time with them?

I've bought them for less than $20 and am still profiting from them. Guess I'm just not that bright.

You would be hard pressed to hire someone to design a complete website (with images, content and CPA/affiliate offers) for $20.

The point is that these pre-built sites are great for people who value their time and want somewhere to start.

Obviously you have to replace the content, but that's a relatively small part of creating a website.

yes they do make a good starting point....its just like with plr if you dont change it then you will probably not do well with it. But if you spend a little bit of time and fix them up and add more content then you can make more than you paid.

Why are you so sure that this complete websites are weird and people are wasting their potential time with them? Actually there are thousands of people including me who are buying this complete website by $20 and still have a noticeable profit. So, please nothing to be amazed. May be, you don't know the way of their usage.

You don't have to buy them, but being appalled is a bit much. The developers but developer's licenses costing around $70 for the themes they use. They buy (usually) high quality plr to use as starter articles. They spend the time to configure plugins and some give bonus plugins that have commercial value. They spend the time to design nice looking blogs. Then they sell them with a PLR license at dirt cheap prices.

My customers who actually take the time to start adding unique content and promoting these blogs make money from them. Some have resell rights which means you can further profit from them.

So what's so appalling about this?
