Random: How long did it take you to reach a $xxxx Income stream?

Hello Everyone,

I go about forums and find many people who are looking for a way to establish a steady income stream online. Many awaiting a guide or eBook that will teach them the ropes of a potentially successful business module.

The question reads: How long did it take you to reach a $xxxx Income stream?

Not many people on this forum can take part in this, because I'm sure their are more people who are looking to achieve this goal online than people who have already achieved it.

But by all means, I welcome anyone who is interested in letting people know how long they have been online, and where they are at now.

If you are one of the people who have hit your 4 digit mark, tell us how long it take you to start making at least $1,000 every month from your online ventures.

Tell us how long it took you (approximately), from when you first started venturing online, looking for ways to make money, until you actually hit your first 1K/Month....

It doesn't matter what you did online to achieve this, if you would like to disclose that, great, if not, it's all good.

This may look like a pointless question, but I think that the people who are looking to make money online, should come to realize that to achieve a successful income stream that remains consistent for months to come, will require more time than they think.

Note: Please don't come to this thread and post that you started making $1000/month from the first month you started looking to make money online. It's pointless to lie to us and to yourself.

For people who have been online and have tried, we all know that it takes one month just to find the niche you would like to venture in .....

I started online in Oct 2008. It took me 5 months to see any income and it is growing at this point. I think the learning curve seems to be about that long. Some more, some less. I have little ones at home and it is not always that easy to spend the time I would like on my business. But I guess that's the joy of working online.....I can work whenever I can and still accomplish what I need to.

it took me 8 months to reach a 5 figure a month income, but I was full time since day one,, I have many sites that earn a small income and a few real home runs... it does take time, but I also had my fiancee and sister to outsource tasks to like link building and other things

I also reinvested my first 10 checks back into my business, which helped out a lot too

  • thanks for your input guys....

The time frame of one's success online does of course depend on the time you spend. If you have a full time job, or little ones to look after, or even both, it will take more time... Dedication is key at this point.

I put in 2-3 hours a day for online work, and feel that its not enough, and want to put in more, but can't....

Well, I can't say that it's a regular monthly thing yet because I've only been running 'live' since the beginning of April, but the product sales has exceeded the $1K mark with a bit of planning and effort.

I personally think that's where most people get started.

However you will find that there are many who figure out that as great as the "money making niche" can be, expanding to other areas online, can be much more rewarding.
