Can anyone let me know any review or recommendations on what the best plug-in would be to use for a new membership site?

In my opinion they're both pretty good. I went with WP Subscribers because of pricing and it also has an option to have people opt in when they leave a blog comment or opt-in to "reveal" the rest of the post/article they're reading.

Just downloaded WP Subscriber, I like the options it offers so I'll give it a go.
Cheers for the advice, got any other plugins you would recommend for a membership site...?

      Thanks

How do these two compare with Glen Allsopp's Optin Skin?

Good question. I have been considering OptinSkin but still hesitant. If only they ran a WSO...

Lots of good thing said about Fast Member, Member Sonic, Member Rocket. Wishlist too but it's pricey now. Lots use S2member and it's free.

I got Member Sonic when it was first launched for cheap but haven't had a chance to use it yet.

Optinskin is pretty good...its really easy and straightforward to use. Although, currently, I'm using WP Subscribers...i find that it has a cleaner look....just my opinion personally.

I have always used Pop-up Domination.

... but have never been completely happy with it. My main point of contention is the A/B system (and the analytics in general, really). I have yet to receive what I consider an accruate and consistent view of how my opt-in form is performing. And, after some work on Google, I discovered that I am most certainly not the only one experiencing these headaches.

That being said, I may have to check out OptinSkin (WSO) as linked to by JackieGold above. I would be more than thrilled to leave Pop-up Domination if OptinSkin can outperform the competition in terms of stat tracking and A/B testing.

I've had to move to WP eMembers to control my membership side as the WP Subscriber was having a few issues but they both work well together now, I appreciate all the comments above and if anyone is interested checking out the membership site, its TraffiXtreme.

Thoughts on design would be great...

    Thanks,
