Hi,

If you're tired of Google's skyrocketing CPC and expensive keywords bidding, then check out Content Marketing.

Content Marketing is unlike Email Marketing. It is more like Blogging but this time the blogs are by Small and Medium Size Enterprises. The Enterprises would blog based on their Subject-Matter Expertise with this criteria - " highly engaging to readers ".

I guess, this opens up a new playing field for Freelance Writers here.

    I really don't think too hard about google anymore. Doing well with google is a side effect of everything else we are working on. As people download our products and talk about them it is only natural we will get more links and be noticed by the search engines.

    Google is trying really hard to make others think like that as well.

    These past few updates have made it clear that they are tired of people "gaming the system" and manipulating their rankings.

    Azmanar is onto something about content marketing, but if you're going to invest the significant amount of time it requires to do this type of marketing effectively, make sure that you are putting out some quality stuff.

      Hi,

      Small & Medium Enterprises might not have writers or the time to write, if they plan to opt for Content Marketing.

      The best way is to outsource specific sections of their blogs to Freelance Writers.

      One example would be a Travel Agency outsourcing tourism articles to freelance writers travelling and living in Thailand or China.

      Another example is an enterprise that is selling "Green" products. This enterprise can outsource sections of their blogs to writers who are passionate about Green Living.

      In a way, these enterprise-owned blogs become Authority Sites on specific subject matters, ( at the same time OWN the adspace to promote their products ).

      Like Duval said, SERPs will become positive side-effects.
