Payza Brings Back USA Bank Transfers - Does PayPal Finally Have a Worthy Opponent?

Hey everyone,

I just got this email 5 minutes ago from Payza:
Dear Shane,

We are pleased to announce that Bank Transfer transactions to and from US bank accounts are once again available for select Payza members. Based on your account history these features are available to you. This means you are now able to Add Funds by Bank Transfer to your Payza e-wallet from the US bank account(s) currently linked to your Payza account. These transactions are FREE! You can also Withdraw Funds by Bank Transfer to the same account(s) for just $0.50 USD per transaction.
Oh yeah!!!!

Does PayPal finally have a worthy opponent / competitor?

Best,
Shane

EDIT: Let me make this clear. I love PayPal and have been using them for years. I am just interested to see which alternatives people migrate towards as they become available. When Payza was "AlertPay" I did a few successful transactions with them and it went very smoothly.

No. Paypal does not charge for bank transfers. You can withdraw money to your bank account totally free. But I welcome any new competition to Paypal.

Does Payza allow the selling and buying of adult/gambling related content? If so then they will attract a lot of people who can't use Paypal.

If people think Paypal customer support is bad... just wait till they try out Payza's

Payza is currently slow, full of bugs, and not safe for buyers. It will not be replacing Paypal any time soon.

Unless you can collect your money instantly and withdraw it same day, my answer is nope, and to boot payza has not proven itself trustworthy in my opinion, how could they, they are sooo new.

With paypal, if someone buys from me, or I get paid for a design job, I can immediately go to the atm and withdraw my money if I needed to.

      Totally agreed.

      What I meant was...

Since many people are looking for PayPal alternatives and previously Payza wasn't allowing any US bank withdrawals (only mailing a check, if that) ... And now they are ... Perhaps more US marketers will be able to utilize them in a way that they weren't before.

I love the PayPal debit card too, but we MUST have back up plans in this business and there haven't been many good ones, so I am interested in hearing what people have to say about the new change. Thanks for your input as well.

      Best,
      Shane

In terms of customer satisfaction, yes.

Every time I received Payments from affiliate programs, CPA's, and sold E-Goods, Paypal would limit my account.

All Payments were over $800.00 In a single day, and they would limit me. When I used them, I had my account limited on average 5-7 times a month which REALLY pissed me off. Bank and CC Verified account too.

I have never had any problems with Payza

It's good to hear about a positive experience, as I had a positive experience with them as well, but when they were AlertPay. Then they didn't allow for US transfers so I gave up on them... Thanks for sharing.

Since I can't use Paypal for receiving payment, I use Payza upto now it's about 5 years since they're Alertpay. I've some issues with them, but they always promptly solve it immediately and report back to me. They seem so small against with Paypal, but who know I'm the one who love Payza than Paypa.

5 years experienced with them, I feel like I have one on one personal assistant when dealing with Payza. Rate 10/10 for my account.

I just wanna tell you that most of the links in the signature are trash and/or a trap to make you pay!

I never personally had a problem with AlertPay. I recently withdrew funds from my old account using the check in the mail option, and I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I received the check.

I do prefer the looser terms, but the fees are higher. UK Payza users have been unable to withdraw funds for awhile now. Not sure exactly what the problem is. Payza also doesn't accept MasterCard which AlertPay also had problems with.

I see that the fees are higher ... but with so few alternatives these days ... I wonder if it's worth it (even if just as a back up plan). But I am sure the general consensus on that would be that as a back up plan it's fine.
    Best,
